Carmen stopped singing as the people dispersed; they headed home with no idea how they got into the tunnels or why they were being stared at by a bunch of strangers. With the people freed from Tutankhamun's control, Chaldea had the chance to go at the king without endangering innocent civilians. It was yet again time to dethrone a king from his crown.

"I'd like to talk to you," Akko said, grabbing Carmen's shoulder before she left.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"I want you to be careful, Tutankhamun... is a king who we still don't know enough about."

"You worry too much."

"Because you're my friend," he shook Carmen's shoulders. "I don't want to see you getting hurt out there, so promise me that you'll come back safe."

"What's with the sudden worry? You were fine when we fought the last kings."

Akko paused for a moment, "I've been in the castle, I know what it's like facing the kings now."

"I promise I'll come back,  Mitra, Helena, Nero, and Abhi are with me. And there's nothing we can't do together."

"I'm included too? Neat," Abhimanyu peeped.

"Then I'll make a special meal for you when you return," Akko lightly tapped her head.

The team of Chaldea was small, Carmen, Mitra, Helena, Nero, and Abhimanyu. With Yu's leg broken, she was forced to stay behind, although, she sent Xuerui to help. There were also Cleopatra and Nebka, both of whom wanted to kick Tutankhamun's ass and get back at Ahmose for betraying them. They packed for the journey; it was going to be a long haul to traverse the capital. Despite the people being freed, the danger wasn't gone with the mummies wandering around and targeting them. They had to follow Cleopatra's lead; she knew the secret alleyways to go unnoticed by anyone.

Carmen creaked open the door to the castle; it was quiet, with no one around to greet them. A thud then got their attention and Cleopatra ran to see what it was, with Nebka following her, they found themselves trapped in a room with Ahmose and Narmer. The group that was once Egypt's council was pinned against one another. Cleopatra stalked in the shadows to find a way out, leaving Nebka alone to deal with the other two. She made her way to the second floor where she knocked down vases and pots to clear the way and create a cloud of dust for Nebka to escape as well. The two were stopped when Narmer yelled out, telling them that Chaldea was in danger, the king was planning to wipe them out.

That wasn't a surprise, Chaldea was the enemy of many kings and Tutankhamun was no exception. The two met with Chaldea who was trapped in a maze, the king turned the castle into a puzzle just to get into the throne room. Cleopatra released her mechanical snake to help with the search, thanks to her, they avoided many other traps. Spikes sprung from the floor, arrows shot from the ceiling, and the ground below collapsed, those were just a few of the deadly designs that her snake had to crawl out of. She had to stop for a moment to repair it, giving Chaldea some time to rest.

Mitra held a fire in his hands as he warmed some dumplings Akko packed for them. Even though the doctor was a coward, he was a good support system. Carmen sat next to Cleopatra and handed the assassin a dumpling, she wanted to know more about why the pharaohs wanted the throne. They had a war over it after all. Cleopatra leaned her head on her hand, it felt like years ago when they did that, and some regretted it. The gods had a good point back in the day, aiming for the throne meant a better Egypt under one king instead of splitting the realm between rulers. She was on board with it, thinking that if she took the throne, she could make Egypt better.

It turned out to be a terrible idea. The second Tutankhamun became king; the entire realm fell apart. Not to mention the windstorm that made the surface uninhabitable. Carmen asked about that as well, The storm was like the one in India, and she wondered if it was caused by one of the old gods. Cleopatra shook her head, the old gods hated Egypt. Back when they were active, they traveled to Greece and India before going off to the land of crystals and poison. That was yet another subject, the realms that she hadn't heard the names of yet. Cleopatra shrugged, their borders were closed and not many knew their full name.
