Carmen sat at the table while the others began to wake up, however, they were interrupted when Yin got a call from her allies. Japan was under attack by the King's forces, they were searching for Yu and weren't going to give up easily. Yu, taking responsibility, grabbed her daggers and said she would take care of the enemy alone. Nero then stopped her, there was no way she could take the soldiers. Just because she was a former member of the council didn't mean she could take on an army, nor did she know if they changed their tactics since she left.

Yu backed down, Nero was right, they needed a plan first and a way to watch the enemy's movements. Yin instead gave the group a summary of events. The army was surrounding the land and was searching through every house, the people of Japan had fled to the Church belonging to Amaterasu where they thought they would be safe, and what little resistance there was tried to keep the army busy. Chaldea and the rebellion were also on their hit list, no one in the group could approach Japan without being killed on the spot.

However, Carmen had an idea as she looked at Yu who was busy thinking. There was an old teammate of hers who had that same face when thinking and did resemble Yu. Her name was Hinako Akuta. Yu asked what Hinako had to do with any of their problems and Carmen said she could be the solution, if they dressed Yu as her, then they could get inside Japan undetected. Carmen drew a picture of Hinako and got the others to help with gathering the clothes. With a little resistance, they got Yu into a long dress, her hair up into twin ponytails, and glasses that looked too big for her.

"I don't know how your friend walked in this outfit; it is killing me," Yu complained as she tried to lift the dress to walk.

"Yu, please." Carmen sighed.

"I know... pretend to be this... Hinako girl and get information. By the way, why does this work so well? I look exactly like her."

"Not sure... but it works well. Now go out there and get us some info!"

Yu went up to the gate between Japan and China and hoped to get past without any issue; while she was asked for a name and purpose, she was allowed inside. She hid inside an abandoned building to call Carmen as she snuck further in. She found a shrine where a white fox statue was being examined by the council. A woman with blonde hair and wearing a blue and white dress stood, she held a device in her hand that was pointed at the statue. A man's voice came from the device and told her that it was one of the last standing tributes to Amaterasu. However, that was not their goal. They were looking for Yu who was last seen in Japan.

Another man approached, he had short black hair and a black coat over his black and white suit. He had stopped by the church and found out that they were uninvited to Japan, especially since they were the ones who destroyed the town. They were Sima Yi and Tai Gong Wang, two of the council's best fighters who worked under Shi Huang Di. Neither took the threats seriously, so decided to keep going, they didn't have time to keep playing with people who didn't want them around yet couldn't fight back. The two ordered the guards to expand their search into the outskirts of Japan.

Overhearing the conversation, Yin told Yu to keep moving. She couldn't be caught under any circumstances. Most guards wouldn't recognize her, but those two would. They knew everything and if they even looked at her, it was over. Yu agreed and snuck past more guards, she followed Sima Yi and Tai as they moved through Japan's courtyard to the empty city. The capital was destroyed, with the tallest buildings being burned to ash and the rubble falling from the shorter ones. Yu remembered those times, there was an order to raid Japan and take resources from it.

Guan Yin wanted to eliminate the competition between China and Japan, and the winner was China. Much of it was thanks to Shi Huang Di, who was the tactician of the three council members and had planned the best routes of attack.
