Akko covered the god of water with a blanket and went to Mitra to relay some information. Varuna was dying and likely only had a few days left. Akko drew a figure on the sheet and circled the heart, a god's core was in the same place as a human heart, and though it was more durable, once it was damaged, there was no recovering it. Varuna's core was broken and slowly cracking. Mitra held his friend's hand; Varuna was glad to have him there, even though it had been hundreds of years and he felt resentful for the abandonment, he let go of it for the small amount of time they had together.

Sita grabbed Akko's arm, she wasn't happy about Varuna being housed in her base; if she were to remind him, it was that god who killed Rama. He told her that there was nothing she could do, Varuna was dying, and giving him a hard time about it would ruin the mood. She moved passed him, choosing to ignore him and the gods.

Vrishasena held the paper Rati gave him, if the god of lust was telling the truth, then his rebellion was alive. He went out without telling Sita and headed to the location, unfortunately, he was stopped by Abhimanyu, who saw him in the distance. The boy wanted to know why he was going it alone, monsters were out in the desert along with surveillance from the council, it was a death wish, to say the least. Vrishasena pushed the archer aside; he didn't need help, especially from the son of the man who started the war and led to his father dying. He turned to see Parvati and the rest of Chaldea backing up Abhimanyu. He was outnumbered. They all decided to go with him since he was too stubborn to let it go.

The town was filled with people, there was no doubt about that. Although, they seemed to be on edge. A woman approached Vrishasena and whispered to him to get inside, Rati's machine was watching their town and they needed to go in secret. She sat at a table and gave the group an explanation of what had happened. While it was true Rati apprehended them, he saw no reason to kill them. He asked them for information on the other gods instead for his protection. His goal was to discover which of the gods was holding Kama and how to defeat them. Once he got what he wanted, he never returned. The good news was that he kept his word, none of the other council members knew about the base and didn't think to go there since Rati wiped it off the digital maps.

There was one problem though, and that was they couldn't help Sita's rebellion. They were stripped of anything to help them fight and were at the mercy of the god if he returned. He essentially kept them as pets. Vrishasena made up his mind; he was going to stay in the town and free them, once he was done, he'd return to Sita's base with them, and together, the rebellions and Chaldea were going to stop the king. Parvati offered to help, she was done with Rati's behavior and the council. It was time the rebellions had a god on their side. Vrishasena reassured Chaldea it was going to be okay, Parvati had days to kill them and stayed in the corner of Sita's base the whole time.

"Chaldea has been spotted, it looks like they're returning from hunting demonic beasts," a man with red hair said. His arrow pulled back to activate his skill to see far away.

"Our orders are to capture them alive, so don't mess up and shoot someone's heart again," Shakuni said as he pulled out a dagger and flipped it in his hands.

"It's going to take a while to get used to you talking again."

"Be quiet," Shakuni pointed the dagger at him. "Is the archer boy with them?"

"Abhimanyu, yes. Should we kill him?"

"He's not our issue, we'll take him to the king."

A warning arrow was fired, covered in earth magic, it struck the sand and created a barrier of stone to encase Chaldea. When Carmen saw the archer as he stood on the stone; she felt like she had seen him before, his dark red hair and glowing yellow eyes. And his clothing, a long black cape hanging on his left shoulder, no shirt, velvet loose pants, and back shoes. "Ashwatthama?"
