The throne room was empty, giving Chaldea the creeps. Psyche was the only king active in the fights against her council, and it left time for them to catch their breath. Van Gogh grabbed a tapestry from the wall to draw on, but a lightning bolt knocked her paintbrush out of her hand. Zeus and Galen entered to act for Psyche. Zeus held his hand above his head, lightning gathering at his fingertips and he shot it at Chaldea. Akko moved to the front, catching the bolts and surprising the king of gods. He shifted the mana outward to strike the walls and stood to counter Zeus' attacks. Laurine ran to the front as well, shooting Galen who used his lance to block the bullets. At least he found the two members who weren't in the records.
Van Gogh picked up her paintbrush again and released the fairy familiar to watch if Psyche returned. She painted sunflowers that sprung to life and kept Galen from seeing his target when he threw his lance. With no idea what it'd hit, it didn't matter if it ignored defenses. Cleopatra grabbed the lance and broke it, stopping him from using his trump card and Nero charged to point her sword at his neck. Galatea was behind her, jumping over them and hitting Zeus to stop the lightning attacks. The two were easy to disarm, raising the question if they were testing Chaldea and didn't plan to fight.
Ariadne burst through the doors, holding her arm as it slowly turned to stone. She went to punch Galen, it was his fault. He kicked Nero aside to grab her hand and block her attack. She was right, it was his idea to send the council members after Chaldea and to fight in their weakest form. He wanted them dead, and she was no exception. She raised her sword, flicking the chain around it in frustration. The fight was like a chase, Ariadne stayed away from Galen, keeping him from hitting her. However, her body turning to stone kept her from fighting at her best. She fell to one knee and Galen picked her up only to hurl her to the other side of the room before the stone reached his hand and shattered her body on the wall.
Psyche was the last to enter, she gracefully walked into the room with the scythe at her side and threw a stone familiar at Van Gogh. Galen bowed to her and shoved Zeus in her path, allowing her to slash him. She turned to Chaldea but stopped, his power wasn't flowing through the weapon. She was shocked when she saw Zeus holding Galen by his neck, his body went limp and Zeus' soul transferred to his body.
"Did you think I was going to stand by and let you do as you please?" Zeus shifted his new body, the golden décor reforming on his back as a white, blue, and gold cloth covered him. He floated above the ground, his feet hovering a few inches and surrounded by golden rings.
"So, you stole my ambassador's body to gain a sliver of a chance to fight me?" Psyche stabbed the scythe's blade into the ground.
"He gave it to me," Zeus sent a barrage of lightning at Psyche that she blocked.
"Coward, I always thought he was a loser." Psyche charged Zeus, staring into his eyes that turned black with green pupils.
"Don't let her kill him!" Galatea yelled. "He's the last god of Greece!"
Van Gogh dragged her paintbrush onto the floor and Helena stepped on the lines to help, turning the green paint into vines that grabbed Psyche. The king slashed through them and clashed her scythe against Carmen's glass, she tried to dig deeper, attempting to reach Carmen. Mitra punched her before she had the chance, Galatea was also there to support him, grabbing the scythe's handle and pulling it to get it away from Psyche. She was thrown aside, hitting Mitra as Cleopatra's snake took them off the field to recover. The assassin used her snake to distract Psyche and avoid being touched by the blade, since her snake was mechanical, it was immune.
She used that to her advantage, letting it take the hits while she got behind Psyche and Zeus used his lightning to make it harder. Eventually, Cleopatra kicked the scythe out of Psyche's hands. Helena and Nero rushed in, Nero's sword was glowing in a light blue tint that created ice when she swung it. She froze Psyche's legs, to give Abhimanyu the final seconds he needed to shoot the god-killing cannon. Psyche held a flame in her hands, the heat was enough to melt the ice and the metal around her, meaning it was Hephaestus' power she was using. And when Abhimanyu shot at her, she used Athena's shield to block some of it. But since it ignored defenses, it shattered and she was left with a hole in her chest.
