Sticky with sweat in the sultry heat, I seek the shower
But it only stings the sunburns that have stained my skin
You are the shining sun & I got too close
You lit this wildfire inside of me
Bringing me a taste of your hometown, burning me down
I wasn't careful enough, now I'm left charred, scarred
I should've known, with a surname like that
But for you, I'd incinerate infinitely
And I know I will
