Wishing, wishing, always wishing, I am, we are,
On birthday cake candles,
Ladybugs,
Blown eyelashes and dandelion seeds,
Coins, tossed into wells and fountains,
Lamps of genies,
And shooting stars.
Wistful wishes whispered in the night,
By starlight, star bright.
Grant me my wish, just this once.
