"So, I have this theory," Lan Wangji started to voice his opinion to the motley crew. They were highly intelligent individuals and even better as a group, so they were the best option as a sounding board. "What if, the real thief also had access to Lan's Tech security feeds, and they saw Mo Xiang lurking around for information to give to Jin Guangshan, but they did not know it. So when somehow my mother stole the body back, they suspected that Mo Xiang was the one who stole the body, since she was the only one who was around at the time of the theft. So they went after her in an obvious way, which made her escape to Japan. And when they could not find her, they threatened to kill Mo Xuanyu, to lure her back to the country. Unfortunately Mo Xuanyu was killed first by Meng Yiran, who happened to be Meng Yao's sister. Or, another scenario, Jin Zixun, who now we know had connections to Kingpin, paid Meng Yiran to do the bullying, which went horribly wrong, while he was supposed to kidnap and maybe sell Mo Xuanyu as a slave. Or, knowing the little pervert's mind,  he just plainly want to rape Mo Xuanyu."

"And Jin Zixun somehow was in the middle of all those drugs, rapes and murder." Shen Qingqiu thought about it. "It actually makes sense. Now we only have to find the connection between Kingpin, Jin Zixun, the rape, your theft, and whether Mo Xiang is still alive or not."

"I think Mo Xiang is already dead. What kind of a mother who did not come back for her own child's funeral? But the key here is Jin Zixun. He was connected to the first murder, Mo Xuanyu's death, and his lackey was talking to an associate of Kingpin. We need to find him."

"I'm searching for Jin Zixun's digital track right now." Liu Qingge started to work on his laptop.

"That actually reminds me. Remember the property theft by Meng Yao?" Lan Wangji's mind suddenly clicked. "He owned the land and the building where the anonymous underground sex club is at. And the cash withdrawal was done in the vicinity of that club. I thought he probably just leased the property to someone else, but what if it's not the case?" He rubbed his chin in a gesture of concentration. "What are the odds that Meng Yao is also Kingpin's subordinate?"

He could use the money he took from your brother's account, and maybe even his name, to bribe the authority. And if we throw high-end auto thefts into the mix too, we have Jin Zixun driving that Lamborghini Sian, which was confiscated by Xianxian." Shen Qingqiu also went into deep thought mode. "The 'customers' of the sex club were also not your average people, who obviously had money to buy exotic and one-of-a-kind car."

"We should check the camera from the ATM machine at the time the perp withdrew it, and Meng Yao’s, Meng Airan’s and Jin Zixun's digital tracks, to see if somehow they were crossing paths somewhere." "Oh, I connected Xiao Hei to your phone, Lan Wangji, and Dianxia to your’s, Hua Cheng. You guys can do your own searching and hacking now via your respective smart cars." Liu Qingge suddenly quipped, since he really forgot about it.

"Dianxia?" Xie Lian looked at Hua Cheng in question, which made Hua Cheng blush.

"I named my car, a red Bugatti Divo, Dianxia. Well, more accurately, the A.I inside."

"Ah, I am flattered, Hua Cheng. Perhaps we should go for a ride in it someday, soon?" Xie Lian couldn't help but feel fondness for the very handsome man in front of him, Morningstar or no Morningstar.

"You guys should be bait for Kingpin's operation with your crazy cars. It will surely attract his attention fast.
