| Warning: This chapter includes some child neglect, and trauma. I'm also portraying Hermione as someone really bad in this chapter. It's just to add the story, but I'll make her a good character in the future. |
Roxanne is a very interesting person. She's never been the popular girl, or the quiet kid. She's always been in the middle, but yet she has her own world. She can be social depending on the situation, or she can be quiet also depending on the situation. Not many people know who she is. From meeting her I can tell you she's nothing like me, and that's a good thing. She doesn't study because she rather write in her journal. People think I don't like her very much, and they'd be right. I never fancied her. Not even when I first met her.
"Hermione!" Harry yelled across the hallway. "Hi Harry!" "I'd like you to meet someone." "It's about time you introduce me to one of your friends. I feel like every since the first day I've had to introduce you to everyone I know." "Well, she's not my friend. She's actually my step sister, but I consider her like an actual sister." "I'd love to meet her. Maybe we will be best friends, and study together." "I really hope that's what happens between you two. You two could be a great witch friend duo." "Well where is she?!" "She's right here." Harry grabs this girl around the corner. This gorgeous, quiet girl. Such a gorgeous girl. Her eyes were the first thing I noticed, they were stunning. She was such a looker. "Hermione, this is my sister Roxanne. Roxanne, this is Hermione." "Hi, I'm Roxanne." "Hermione Granger." "I hear your name around the hallway." "Very fascinating. Now I may ask you. There is a new test on mythical creatures. Would you like to study with me?" "Isn't that test a few weeks away?" "Yes, but why not get a head start?" "Studying a few weeks before a isn't my cup of tea." "That's a shame. Studying will help you in the future." "I'm really good at duels, and writing so I think I'll stick to that." "You would risk your entire future over a duel and writing?" "I don't expect you to understand." "Not to be cruel, but that seems like a dumb way to get ahead." "I'm already ahead. I don't need to study right now." "Well you're wrong." "Feels like this isn't going in a good direction." "Well you're also a Slytherin so that won't work since your kind isn't welcomed here." "Alright now you've crossed the line Granger." She started to walk towards me, and Harry stepped in her way. "This was supposed to be a good moment." Harry said. "Well it's not my fault this Slytherin girl is nothing." "My name is Roxanne you mudblood!" Harry stared at her. "Why would you say that?" "She called me "nothing" did you expect me not to respond?" "Well at least I have friends." "Well at least I'm not going to be bullied for being a muggle born." "Harry your sister is horrible." "Well you shouldn't have said that Hermione." "She shouldn't have said it either." "Both of you need to stop." "Whatever Harry, go spend time with your friends. Sorry I called you a "mudblood" Hermione." "See she apologized." "Still doesn't change what she said." "Thanks anyway Harry." Roxanne walked away leaving me with Harry. "Why'd you do that?" "Don't know."
So yeah. We never became friends because we saw life differently. We still don't see eye to eye. Not to mention she called me a "mudblood." She did apologize which was nice, but I never apologized. There was never a time where everything was a straight line with us. We always fought, and never liked each other. But there was this time where maybe things would've gone alright, if it didn't end badly. I did something really bad, and it made things much worse between us. After that time she refused to give me chances after that. She had every right to do that. Because I did something really shitty, and I should've never done it. What basically happened is we tried to hang out more. Which also means that Harry forced us to hang out because he really wanted us to be friends. As time went on it didn't bother either of us. It actually was nice hanging out with her. She had a good personality, but she just wasn't exactly like me. Which annoyed the hell out of me. So we started being kinda friends, and eventually we became really good friends. But then..the worst thing happened.
"What I don't understand is why people are wanting to go to another party after the ball." said Roxanne. "Isn't it your house that's doing that?" "Yeah, but they invited everyone. Not just every single Slytherin." "I guess you're right it does seem a little ridiculous. Are you going?" "Well are you going?" "Yeah." "So then I'm coming." "Thank you Roxanne." "That's what friends are for." The rest of the night was normal. I went to the ball with Krum, and Roxanne was in her dress sitting down. She never liked dancing because she always told people. "Bitch I can't fucking dance." The night got really bad once Ron started insulting me. He was a coward for blaming me because he couldn't have the courage to ask me out. After that happened I knew Roxanne already went back to her dorm to get ready for the party. When I went up there she was still in her dress, and writing in her journal. "Hermione what's wrong?" "I'm just really stressed out, and I feel like I fucked up. I don't know what to do Roxanne." "Come here don't cry. I don't know what happened, but if you don't want to tell me that's alright. I just want to make sure you're okay." "I appreciate you so much Roxanne." "Me too." She wiped my tears away. "You're a bit of a mess." We both started laughing. "I'm so happy you're in my life Hermione." Once she said that I thought it was something else. So I kissed her. I never told her that I was bisexual, and that I actually really liked her. When I pulled away her face was a little confused and numb at the same time. "Ummm I love you Roxanne." "Hermione. I really love you as a friend, and I'll always accept you. I'm just not really into girls. But you don't need to feel uncomfortable." "Are you fucking kidding me?" "Don't worry Hermione." "Now you know my fucking secret. My life is over." "I would never say anything to anyone Hermione." "Don't be fucking ridiculous Roxanne. Why wouldn't you say anything?" "Well because you're my best friend." "Oh my fucking god. Just because Harry forced us into a friendship. That doesn't mean we're best friends Roxanne." "Why are you acting like this?" "Because it's fucking true Roxanne. Why would I ever want to be friends with a nobody like you?" "Hermione-." "I mean for fuck sake Roxanne, you don't ever talk about your feelings. You write in a stupid book that your mother gave you before she fucking died. That's depressing." "Can you stop?" "So I know you're going to tell the whole fucking world my secret?" "I wouldn't tell anyone." "Yeah well fuck you Roxanne. I seriously can't believe I gave a nobody like you a chance. No wonder your fucking father ignores you, and adores Harry. It makes so much sense." I saw tears form in her eyes. "Get a fucking life Roxanne." I walked out of her dorm, and saw people were getting ready for the party. I felt weird. Like I did something wrong, but I couldn't go back in there and make everything worse. So I just left, and never went to the party. From what I've heard she didn't go to the party, or to class for a few days. When she didn't show up for some time I knew I fucked everything up.
So yeah. I fucked everything up with being friends with Roxanne. I should've never said that to her, and I should said sorry. But I didn't. Roxanne didn't say a word to anyone because everyone acted exactly the same. I still be bitchy towards her, because I'm scared of what's going to happen. I really do feel bad for what happened.
