I could tell by the look on Sirius's face...he was nervous about what was on my mind. And in all honesty, he should be. "Why didn't you let her come with us?" Sirius looked away from me, and starred back at the waterfall. "Because I wanted it to be just us." "But we always spend time together. I can't remember the last time you took her to a place. I don't think you've ever took her to any of these places in your journal. You never told her the stories you tell me." "Roxanne is different from you Harry. She wouldn't be interested in these type of things." "How do you know? You've never tried." He looked back at me. "I don't expect you to understand my thought process, Harry. Our relationship is very complicated ever since..." Sirius looked like he was about to cry. His breath became shaky, and muffled at the same time. "Ever since Marlene died."
Tears started to form down his face, and he kept his body stiff. I can only imagine what it was like to see his wife dead on the ground. I didn't even see her for myself. I only saw her body when it was at the funeral. Roxanne is someone I feel bad for because of that day. She's the one who saw her slowly die. That couldn't have been easy on her. Sirius wiped his tears from his face, and started to breathe again. "Do you blame Roxanne for what happened?" He snapped his head towards me. "No. I don't blame her. It was an accident, and she was just a child. She had no idea what that spell would do. I can't blame her for Marlene dying. I can't. Why do you ask, Harry?" "Because she blames herself." He looked back at me, and I could see he felt guilty. When Sirius is upset, it's so hard to hide those emotions.
I had one more question to ask, and it was a question I wanted to ask him for a long time. But I never had the courage. I would watch as he turned her down, and took me out instead. The question would wrap around my mind, and play an infinite loop. But every time I tried to ask him, I couldn't speak. It's like I should never ask the question, because maybe I already know the answer. "Do you love her?" He starred at me like I've fallen off a cliff and told him I was alright. "Of course I do." I thought he was going to say something else. "You should tell her then." "I promise I will. I know I'm not really good to her." "I'm sorry to be rude, but you completely forget she exists." "Harry." "What?" "I do love her. She's my daughter, and I loved her the second I found out Marlene was pregnant." "Then you need to tell her. Because she's slowly losing herself." "Don't worry. I will."
He stood up, and started walking back to the hideout. But he wouldn't go back inside. "Aren't you coming inside?" "No. I have some business to attend to. But I can say is go to the Ministry. You will find what you're looking for. I will make sure you have protection." After he said that, he walked off and disappeared into an alley way. I guess he's not ready to go back in, and speak to Roxanne.
I walked back inside, and everyone was packing their bags. "I have some news everyone." They all walked over to me holding their bags in their hands. "We need to go to the Ministry to find what we're looking for." "How are we getting in?" Ron asked. "We're going at night. Tomorrow night to be exact. But we're going back to Hogwarts to get everything ready. I'm not letting Voldemort do anymore damage than he's already done." "Who's going?" Luna asked. "Me, Roxanne, Harry, Neville, You, Ron, and Hermione." "Why aren't we going?" George asked. "I need you guys to stay at Hogwarts, and keep everyone safe. I have a feeling that Voldemort and some of his scumming accomplices will be waiting to attack the school." "So we have the job of protecting?" Fred asked. "Yes. And the rest of us, including Neville will go to the Ministry. Sirius says he will get others on our side so we're protected at the Ministry." "We should go then." Hermione suggested. Everyone agreed, and grabbed their bags walking out the hidden house. Roxanne followed behind not showing any emotion, or motivation.
We all got on the train, and no one spoke to each other. Except Fred, and George. I could tell we had a whole hell wave coming towards us. We were going in for a fight, and it was going to be deadly.
