Cherishing things and being grateful for what you have can easily be seen with Harry. There was a time where Harry didn't treat Roxanne right because he blamed her for their mother dying. Which was completely fucked up because she was just a kid. But things changed around fourth year. He walked in on Roxanne cutting her bicep. It scared him because he wanted to know why she was doing it. A few weeks later he found out why she was doing it, and how long she was doing it. It's because they had a huge fight, and a few people were there to witness it. Including me.
We were up in the Astronomy tower while Harry and Roxanne were yelling at each other. "You're a fucking pain in the ass Roxanne!" Harry yelled. "Don't fucking raise your voice to me you fucking prick!" "Can you guys stop fighting?" Neville asked. "Neville let me argue with my bitch sister." Harry blurted out. "God, you're such an asshole!" Roxanne yelled. "Well this fight will last some time." Pansy said. "I bet they will be fighting all day." Ron said with a tone that sounded like he was going to buy drinks for everyone who said "fuck." "No. I bet they will stop fighting in a short amount of time." Luna added. "I'll take that bet." Ron said. "You know what Harry. I bet you suck dick, and expect the whole fucking world to give you a trophy." Harry chuckled to that, and threw his wand at her face. And she hit him in his arm while laughing. "Does that make you feel good you fucking prick?" "Yeah, it actually does. You have no idea the joy I have in making you angry." "Fuck you, fuck you!" "I know you never will fuck someone." "You're so soft. You're so fucking soft Harry. And you want to know why? It's because you never lost anything in your whole pathetic life." "I lost my mother, and my adoptive mother." "No you didn't lose them, there is a big difference. You don't remember your parents death even though it was tragic. There is a big fucking difference." "Well then. Why don't you explain the difference to me Roxanne! Tell me." "I'll show you the difference." She grabbed Harry's wand, and put it under her neck. "You have to watch them die to lose them Harry." "Well. I doubt you'll hurt yourself again Roxanne." "Don't think I won't." "Fine. Then do it." "Harry." I said. He looked at me, and then looked back at Roxanne. "Do it." She looked at him with tears in her eyes. And when she looked away there was a sound of a small explosion in the air. We all ducked including Harry. When we looked back up we saw Roxanne holding the wand, and she was still alive. Harry looked back at her while she still had the wand. "You have to watch them die to lose them Harry. You need to look your mother in her eyes, and watch her slowly die in front of you. See the light go out of her eyes, and watch the air fall from her lungs. And when she's finally dead, you get to carry what you witnessed for the rest of your fucking life. That's loosing, Harry." Harry slowly grabbed the wand, and tried to pull it out of her hand. She wouldn't give it at first, and laughed a little. "Roxanne." She put her head down, and let go of the wand. And I could hear her breaking down in tears while hiding her face. Harry lifted her head, and looked into her eyes. "Roxanne, I'm really sorry for being an asshole. I'll stop reminding you of that day to help you get better. How long have you been hurting yourself?" "Ever since she died." More tears rolled down her face, and Harry brought her into a hug. "Please stop doing it. It won't help you. If you ever need to talk, come to me."
And that was the last time they ever fought, or said anything cruel to each other. They learned to appreciate each other through pain. I will never forget that day, and I can understand why Harry is like this. "We should still ask Myrtle where Roxanne is." I said. "I was about to ask you that, but I was wondering when the time was right." I laughed at that. We both stood up, and walked to the bathroom to see Pansy walk out of the bathroom. "Pansy!" Harry shouted. "Oh, hello Harry." "Is Myrtle in there?" "Yeah I just finished my therapy session with her." "Thank you so much." "Of course. Oh, and if you see Fred. Can you ask him to help me with flying class?" "Sure." "Thanks. Have a good day." "You too." We walked into the bathroom to see Myrtle humming by the window. She snapped her head towards us and smiled. "Hello Harry. Long time no see." "Myrtle. I was wondering if we could ask you some questions." "Sure. What about?" "You know my sister right?" "Roxy, yes. She comes here to talk about her feelings." "No one ever calls her Roxy." "She doesn't mind it." "I think you might've heard she left with the ministry. I talked to Fudge, and he said he never hired her." "Of course he didn't. No one ever gets hired by Fudge anymore." "When was the last time you saw her?" "I saw her the day she disappeared." "Really? What happened." I asked. "Well some time ago her journal was taken away. I don't know who, but she came back to me with a piece of paper in her hand. She told me about some scavenger hunt she was being sent on by the person who took her journal. I left for some time to roam the pipes. And when I came back I saw a tall man carrying her in his arms. I got scared, and ran away knowing that Roxy was kidnapped by the person who took her journal. I haven't seen her since that night." I saw Harry's face filled with rage. "Did you get a good look at him?" I asked. "All I can remember is he was tall, in a black suit, with dark hair." Harry ran out of the bathroom. "Thank you so much Myrtle. We will find her now." "Good luck Ginny."
