It's been a week in a half since I saw Roxanne, and ever since she's been gone. Everything went back to hell with Harry. Hermione has had to drug him over five times because he refused to get sleep. He is getting better, and he seems very sad at the same time. It's the grieving process he's going through.
I was walking back in my dorm when I saw Roxanne looking out the window. "Roxanne?" "Good day." "Where have you been?" "Trying to get back out of the grieving process. Would you like to go for a walk with me?" "This is strange." "Why?" "You never ask me to go for walks." "Well I'm asking now. So get your coat." She walked out of the room, and I followed behind her in a quick pace. "Wait up!"
By the time I reached her she was already by the whomping willow tree. "Be careful!" "You don't need to run." "You seem oddly normal and calm." "Yeah?" "That isn't normal for you." She burst out laughing. "I feel at peace but also sad at the same time." "Is this about your father?" "Indeed. I miss him very much." "We all do." "And I honestly am happy that he's at peace. Everyday I would see him stuck in the grieving process after my mother died. But I know he's happy to see her again because I can tell that's what he always wanted." "Do you think you're alright?" "I don't think I'll ever be alright. I never was when my mother passed, and I doubt I will be with my dad. It's just a thing about acceptance." "Well now you're acting like yourself." "How so?" "Because you tend to get over things fairly quickly. Even if it's the most devastating thing you've ever been through." "I don't like to hold onto many things. They weight me down." "Well I have to get to class soon. Are you coming?" "No, I'll think I will continue my walk." "Alright. Well let me know if you change your mind." "I promise I will."
I walked off to class, and when I looked back to where we were walking..she was gone. She wasn't there anymore. I would go looking for, but she seemed genuinely alright, and I don't think I need to worry about her as much now.
