A few weeks went by, and I wasn't able to write my emotions on a page. It really fucking upset me that I lost the one thing that helped me stay fucking stable. And now it's fucking gone. I haven't even been paying attention in class, because I've been trying to talk to myself in my head. From what I've heard. I look like I'm dead in a chair, and my eyes stay open. I would write in another journal, but the journal I had was way more important than anyone could think. That journal belonged to my mother. A book she never wrote in because it seemed like she had more important things to do than talk about her feelings on a page. She gave it to me and specifically said "Write in it if necessary." I had no idea what she meant by that. But I knew what she meant about one year after she passed. The journal is my only way connect with my mother since she's no longer around. So yeah... I lost one of the most important things in my life. I think you can imagine how much I want to throw a brick at the person who took it from me.
"Did you hear what happened?" Ginny questioned. "No. What happened?" "Well, it turns out that two first years were found injured in the girls bathroom." "Shit. Really?" "Yeah. It seemed like a creature attacked them, but they don't know what." "How do they know it's a creature?" "Well because the students were bleeding." "But no scars?" "Yeah." "It wasn't a creature then. It was probably some wizard or something." "You think so?" "I don't know. It's just my guess." "Maybe." What I really wanted to say is really? I'm so surprised. In a sarcastic tone. Because there is something happening every single week At Hogwarts. Honestly if there was an explosive in the East Towers, I wouldn't be surprised. Anything can happen At Hogwarts, and nothing is more surprising. So yeah, a few students get attacked by whatever the fuck attacked them. I don't think it's anything surprising. Dumbledore always gives his little speech when something tragic happens At Hogwarts. It's just another way for him to say we aren't safe at Hogwarts anymore. "Students! May I please have your attention?" Dumbledore asks in a normal but frightened tone. "It appears new things have come to Hogwarts, and we must stay safe. Everyone's curfew is shortened to seven in the afternoon." Everyone made an annoyed groan, and some even started to yell "This is ridiculous!" Honestly, they're right. This place gets more dangerous by the year, and I'm surprised Dumbledore hasn't sent us back home. It would be a good option to save lives, but he seems to try to make this place safe when it will never be safe. "All 6th years, please report to your classes." Professor McGonagall said in a tone that sounded like she was nervous too.
"Why are the teachers acting so normal?" Luna questioned. "What are you talking about?" "After what happened recently they're acting like nothing happened." "You couldn't read their eyes?" "No. Can you?" "No." Now that's a lie. It's really easy for me to read people through their eyes, because it's hard to hide emotion in the eyes. Unless you're a robot or some other synthetic shit. Looking into someone's eyes is like seeing a bad cut on your leg. It's really hard to ignore what it looks like if you can see it right in front of you. Therefore it's really easy to see if a person is nervous or not. You could also tell if you remember their tones throughout your years at Hogwarts. You can tell if someone is angry or sad even if they sound normal. The point is, I can read people very well. I could tell the teachers were scared about something, and I'm guessing no one could tell that they were frightened. "Hey Roxanne!" Fred yelled through the hallway. "How are you?" "Not bad. Just annoyed at the new curfew." "Yeah, I could tell." "Do you think they will change it back?" "Unless they solve the problem I'm guessing no." "That's rubbish!"
Fred has always been nice to me. Him and his brother have possibly been the nicest Gryffindors I've ever met. Ginny is nice, but she questions talking to me because I'm a Slytherin. Harry is nice to me, but he really doesn't have a choice. Siblings don't count even though he's my step brother. Hermione is the rudest to me, and Ron smiles once in awhile. But all together he acts like I don't exist. So I would consider the Weasly twins the nicest Gryffindors I've ever met, and who treat me well. "Miss Black, please come to class." Professor McGonagall spoke so softly. "Professor, I've lost something very important to me." "Are you trying to look for it?" "Yes, and I really need it." "My grandfather always told me that "The most valuable things in life, are the things that will save you." Her words spoke to me, but they eventually disappeared into my brain. Going somewhere where I don't know the location. "As an instructor I can't let you skip class to find this important item of yours." "I hope you find what's going on at Hogwarts then." "We will Miss Black."
I pretend to walk to charms class, but instead I walked into the Forbidden Forest. I know, kinda stupid, but I couldn't go back to my dorm without my prefect being a fucking asshole. Waking to the Forbidden Forest didn't bother me because it was so empty I could be alone with my thoughts. I could be alone, and know no one will ask my how I'm feeling. As the minutes went by, I kept hearing noises throughout the forest. Even though that's normal because it's a fucking forest. They started to sound like footsteps coming towards me. Something inside me forced me to walk away from the footsteps. But they kept getting louder and closer. So I kept moving forward and as far away from the sound as I can. It got to the point where I was running through the woods. "Fuck me this was a bad idea!" I eventually had to catch my breath, and I couldn't hear the footsteps anymore. It was probably around three in afternoon, and I could see that students and teachers were walking out of classes. If I walked out of the forest they would see me. I was standing behind a tree for about a half hour, and there were still some teachers outside. "Why the fuck can't they go inside?" Once I turned my back on the teachers and faced the forest while leaning against a tree. I saw a small piece of paper lying on the ground covered in dirt. I picked up the piece of paper, and brushed the dirt off the page. The first thing I noticed about this page was that it said "Clue 1." "What the hell?" I turned the page around, and saw what looked like a riddle. "Walk around the stars, and look alive. What you're doing won't make you die , but figure out these Riddles to get your pages in your sight."
"Are you fucking kidding me?!"
