I walked down to the Great Lake, and started to read the first entry.

"Hello, there are seven places that gave me happiness with the love of my life. I think it would be easier for you to understand how the experience went by you being there. Unfortunately you weren't there when this happened. Maybe I don't even know you. The first place is where I first met the love of my life; Marlene. The most beautiful, and kindest women that's ever crossed my path. We met by the Great Lake. She was swimming in the water on Tuesday 1976 at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizarding.
I usually went down to the Great Lake to study before huge tests since most locations at Hogwarts were busy, and filled with distractions. While going down to the lake I saw a girl in the water with the most beautiful blonde hair I've ever seen. She had some freckles on her face, and her eyes were a beautiful green. She turned her face to me, and her smile added a sparkle to the lake. "Good day!" She says. "Good day to you as well." "I hope I'm not bothering you. I always come down here for a swim on Tuesday afternoons." "You're alright Ms.??" "My name is Marlene McKinnon." "It's a pleasure to meet you Ms. McKinnon. My name is Sirius Black." "Sounds like an intense name. I'm sure you have all the women shaking when they hear your gorgeous voice." "Oh I wouldn't say that." "You don't like to be with anyone." "No, I just never had someone find me attractive enough for a first date." "Well this is fascinating. You should try to ask women out on dates." "I fear I'm too busy, and I'm too shy to do anything like that." "So that's why you come down here. Or did you follow me?" "No, no. I come down here often. Normally when I need to study for a test because the Great Hall can become crowded." "That is true. Would you like me to help you study?" "I don't want to ruin your time in the lake." "Oh it's alright. I was just about to get out anyways." She got out of the water in shorts, and a bra. She was absolutely stunning, and her lips were full. "So, Sirius." "Yes ma'am." "You don't need to study for a test like this." "Why not?" "Because you need to relax before you study." "I'm alright I should study." "Alright then. Well fuck look at the time. It's time for a shower and then lunch. Good luck with studying." "Thank you." She grabbed her towel, and walked away. Her voice was so elegant and beautiful. Her facial expressions were delicate and soft. She was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, and it took me a long time to realize how much I needed her in my life.

The first journal entry is over, and I can see why the Lake would be important to mom. She loved to be quiet, but she also liked to make people think she was happy. She was good at representing herself as happy, joyous, outgoing, and perfect. But I'm reality she was quiet and sad because of something. She never told me, but I know she left something for me the day she died. As if she knew she wouldn't be here the next day. She wrote a letter, and it tells me all her secrets and everything she wanted to know about me. I'm wondering if it's still in my room under the floor board. Because that's where she would hide things because it used to be her room to be at night.
This will be a long journey, but I know it will be worth it.
