As of all dinners in the great hall...this one was the most peculiar one we've ever experienced. Roxanne only came to dinner for a little because Pansy dragged her out. Roxanne never liked coming to dinner in the great hall because everyone annoyed her. So she would normally eat something with Pansy outside. When she came into the great hall, she seemed way too happy. Which meant she was in the worst time of her life. Here's everything that happened.
"Why does Roxanne look happy?" Neville asked. I snapped my head towards the Slytherin table to see Roxanne sitting down looking happy. "What the fuck?" I said. "Since when does this bitch seem happy? She's always in a depressing mood forcing the light at Hogwarts to go down." Angelina said. "That's a rude thing to say." Neville said. "I mean she is always depressed so something must be wrong." Hermione blurted. "No she's a bitch as well." Angelina sneered. "Can all of you shut the fuck up?! I'm trying to enjoy my chicken!" Ron yelled. "Do you ever stop eating?" Hermione asked. "I'm hungry!" Ron said. I was trying to focus on Roxanne, and listening to the Gryffindor table bitch. The guys even started to get closer to her, but knowing her anger issues will never change she threatened all of them with a fork. Typical. Right before anything could happen, Pansy came into the Great Hall and grabbed Roxanne by her arm. She dragged her out of the Great Hall, but she didn't make it too obvious. But if you followed her every step, you could tell she was trying to help Roxanne. "Well something is about to happen." Seamus blurted. "Shut the fuck up!" I yelled. Once I yelled I got up from my seat, and followed Roxanne and Pansy. "Roxanne!" "She's fine, Harry." Pansy walked away with Roxanne, and my clumsy ass didn't look where I was going. I ran into this guy. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry for bumping into you." "Don't worry about it. It's not like you tried to kill me or anything." "That's true." While looking at this man he looked so well groomed, and he had a face I've never seen before. Which is ridiculous because I know everyone here. "I'm sorry. I don't think I know you. Your face isn't familiar to me." "Shouldn't be. I just arrived here. I'm new to Hogwarts." "Oh wow. We never get new students ever since Voldemort." "You mean.. "you know who?" "I'm guessing you're scared of him?" "Of course. I think you're very brave for speaking his name." "Hey, what did you say your name was again?" "I didn't say it." "Can you say it now then?" "It's Thomas Travers." "Nice to meet you." "Would you mind telling me where the Great Hall is? I was told in a letter that is where I would be sorted in my house." "I'll do you one better. I'll take you there." "Really? But you seemed to be busy going after those two girls." "Oh I was. One of the girls is my sisters best friend. She's been through something traumatic, and she's refusing to talk about it." "Oh, what happened?" "She was kidnapped two months ago by someone in the girls bathroom, and now that she's back no one is interested to find the man who did this." "On my first day here there is already a problem." "You'll get used to it. Every year something happens, and it last the whole year. I'm just surprised it's only taken two years." "Well something tells me it isn't over." "You're probably right."
We continued our conversation in the hallway until Pansy started running towards us panting. "Pansy?" "Harry, there is an emergency!" "What's wrong?" "So there is a party tomorrow night before one of the big tests. And the dip shits in the Slytherin common room spilled it out." "So what's the problem?" Thomas asked. "Who's this Harry?" "Oh. He's a new student here. Thomas Travers this is Pansy Parkinson. My sisters best friend." "Great to meet you." "A pleasure. The problem is Tom. Can I call you Tom?" "Sure." "The problem is Tom my friend recently got kidnapped, and she's not being herself since it happened. So when the fuckers told me there was a party. She was next to me. Now she's interested in going, and I know she's going to drink which she never does." "Sounds like a big problem." "It is." "Have you tried to talk her out of it?" I asked. "You think it's that easy?" "No." I stated. "I have limited time to change her mind." "Why don't you just let her go to the party, but keep a close eye on her." "Well I can't go to this party. I need to serve a detention with Professor McGonagall. I was running here to ask Harry if he could do it." "I have to go to the Ministry tomorrow with Dumbledore because he needs me for some stupid reason." "Isn't that just great?! No one can watch her tomorrow night." "What do you mean who can't?" "I can't, you can't, Fred needs to go mend his shop and George is accompanying him, Ron is serving a detention for Snape, Hermione needs to study, Astoria is going on a date, and Luna was asked to go see her father the whole day." "What about Blaise, Adrian, Enzo, Theo, and Draco?" "They will get drunk, and forget what they're doing." "I could watch her for you." Thomas blurted out. The both of us snapped our heads to him. "Wait really? You'd do that?" Pansy asked. "Yeah sure." "We have a lifesaver!" Pansy yelled. "I know he seems nice. We need to get him sorted into his house soon." "Oh. Well good luck Tom." "Thank you." "Wait before you go. The password to get into the party is "pure blood." "Thank you. I won't forget that." "Great. Good luck getting sorted." Pansy walked off, and I brought Tom to the great hall to get sorted. Honestly I'm so grateful for his arrival. It's the best timing I've seen. I know he will do great watching over her.
