Higher power - Lando Norris

11. If you wanna be my baby...

Next morning I wake up still confused, so I decide to ignore the thoughts and just look at Instagram for a bit of time. I scrolled to my for you page and saw a lot of pictures of drivers, when my eyes saw a picture of George with a girl. It looked a bit like me but I didn't reconized the clothes so I clicked on the picture to get it full screen. It then hit me it wasn't me at all, it was a different girl walking hand in hand with George. I looked at the caption

'George russel spotted with Seychelle de Vries, we don't know a lot of the two but they seemed pretty close together last night. Spotted at the restaurant Salz'

When I read the caption my heart dropped to my stomach, that bitch was lying to me, how could I be stupid to believe his messed up cover up, 'i'm going with the boys somewhere' I could slap myself in the face right now, stupid me.

I decided to let it rest for a while before I would confront George about his other girl, I walked down stair for breakfast. It was Tuesday so most of the drivers were at the track right now, but I spotted Daniel sitting at one at the driver tables in the hotel restaurant. I walked toward him with a bowl of yogurt and fruit. He smiled at me when I sat down "good morning Dan" he waves at me, I laugh at him knowing his mouth is full of food. He swallows and then responds with "Good morning sunshine, how are you this morning?" I smile at him "I umh I feel really confused to be honest" 

"Ow that sounds not really great, why are you confused?"

"Well I went on a date with George and I thought we were good and starting to like each other and see each other as more then friends but this morning I saw a picture of him with another girl. The picture was made yesterday when he told me he was going out with the boys, so he lied to me. And with that Lando told me he liked me yesterday and it confused me because we only kissed once when we were both drunk" I said really fast not giving Daniel any time to take in all the things that I just told him.

He looked at me in shock "you and Lando kissed?" I smiled at him a bit nervous "yes but it was only once and I didn't though it meant anything to him" He laughs "That boy finally got a girl he likes" I look at him confused, Daniel then explains "Lando never really liked a girl and now that he likes a girl, she is the niece of Max and she likes another driver. He is unbelievable"

"Didn't he tell you about this, I thought you guys discussed everything and told each other all your secrets" Daniel nods "he told me he liked a girl but he wouldn't tell me it was you" Daniel can't stop smiling and it didn't lighten my mood "you are supposed to tell me what to do Dan, not be happy for Lando for finally liking a girl, that's not my problem"

"Well if I tell you to drop George and see were thing can go with Lando, you would disagree with me" I shake my head "well i'm not going to disagree on dropping George he kind of used me but also didn't, I will tell him I just want to stay friends. And then I'm going to be a happy single woman." I said really convincingly, or I though I sounded convincingly . Daniel bursted out in laughter, I look at him with a 'what's wrong with you' face " you like Lando but you will not admit it to yourself, note my words: you and Lando will get together" I now start laughing really loud " you are a funny one Dan" he looks dead serious so I get myself back together

He stands up and looks at me again " remember what I told you" I roll my eyes "never going to happen Dan Ric" I tell him, he then turns around and walks toward the exit, I yell to him "nice seeing you to, see ya later" he turn around and walks back to me "I'm sorry, I will see you later sunshine" he kissed my cheek and got out of the restaurant. 

I finished my bowl of food and went back to my hotel room to change into a flower dress. I grab my stuff and decide to go to the track to walk a round on the track. We would race this weekend the same track as last weekend so I knew the way in the paddock by now. I got to the track and started my walk from the out of the pit lane, it was nice weather so I enjoyed watching people run and bike around the track. It was something I did a lot at home walk and look at other people doing something they liked or absolutely hated. I personally loved to run but it depended on the weather and the time, running in the rain could be fun but in the morning I hated to run in the rain. I was almost half way when I spotted George walking with some of his engineers, I was guessing he was doing his track walk so I tried to ignore him and pass him on a quick pace. I was almost out of his sight when I heard my name being yelled.

I turn around to see George running up to me "good morning babe" I look at him in disbelieve "babe? really?" all of a sudden I feel kind of angry, this guy really is playing games with not only me but also his new 'girlfriend'or whatever she is. "Sorry is something wrong?" he looks at me with an innocent face, " if something is wrong, you are kidding me right now" he looks even more confused, I laugh in disbelieve "I know about the other girl George you can stop this act now" he looks a bit shocked by my responds " I umh I am sorry, I guess. I never wanted to do this to you or my girlfriend" I shake my head " you are a dick, she is your girlfriend and you wanted to cheat on her with me?" he looks at his feet "Sorry I thought we would end really fast, so I just wanted to keep you for fun. That was wrong of me" I now loose my temper and get really angry "keep me for fun, you dickhead" I slap him across the face and with that I walk away.

It never really was serious but I was catching feeling for George so it hurted me still hearing him saying those  words. I walk really fast and I don't look where I'm going when I bump into someone, I look up "I'm sorry, wasn't watching were I was going" the guy turned around revealing it was my nephew "ow Max, hey" he looked at me, seeing how I looked a bit off "Hey Nien, you okay?" I smile "I'm fine just a stupid dude" He then looks dead serious, Max hated me dating guys because every time I would get hurt he wanted to beat the guy up. "who was it?" I smile "no one, it doesn't matter anymore" he is still not convinced "It isn't Norris right? I will kill that guy if he hurts you" I shake my head "No, it's not Lando, he is nice to me" he then nods letting the subject go, he hugs me and we say goodbye.

When I was back at the paddock, I was still fuming, nobody should talk to me in this mood because they will get either killed or ignored. I wasn't very often this mad, but it's a family thing we get mad very fast and loose our temper really quick. I almost reached the exit when Lando stopped me by stepping in front of me "What's wrong with you?" I almost cried when he asked me but I hold myself together "nothing, now get out of my way" he shakes his head " no you don't look fine, talk to me. I'm still your friend" I then sight and relax a little and look him in the eye. "George has a girlfriend and he was keeping me for fun" I say while I see Landos facial expression change, he clench his jaw and looks away "that son of a bitch" 

I put my hand on his shoulder and he looks back at me " It's okay I already slapped him in the face" I laugh remembering I just did that like a bad ass bitch. He looks impressed at me "well he deserved that an a lot more of pain" I nod and look away "It's okay, he will get on with his life and I will move on from him too. I rather find out now then later" Lando nods in agreement "still he is a dick" I laugh at his responds, Lando is always really caring and hates players. "I have to get back to the garage if you need me you can always call me" I hug him and he hugs me back "thank you" I whisper and then walk past him through the exit. I needed some time for myself to cool down.

A/N

Long chapter almost 1600 words whoop whoop. I made George look like a bad guy, I know he is really sweet but I need a bad guy in the story so sorry for the George lovers. I love George but he is always the nice dude in every story so I want to be different and make him the bad guy for once. What do we think of the  conversion with Lando?

Well I'm writing another chapter right now still not knowing how it will go. I don't want it to go easy like their got the be some more drama and Nina needs to get back to her real life after this race weekend. So get in the rollercoaster because the next chapter will be lots of ups but also some downs.
