Days, weeks went by and Nina still was in a coma, her heart did beat. She still looked dead, her body didn't move and her skin was white. Lando sat next to her on the stool, it was break and spend most of his time at the hospital knowing it was partly his fault that she was almost dead. Lando told Max of what happened the day she got in an car crash, he was boiling of angry but they talked it out, Lando told Max about how his ex told him that he would never be loved again and that he would never be enough. That played the whole time in his head that day, that he could never give Nina what she needed. He wanted some time for himself to let himself believe he was enough but he did the opposite he pushed her away, it ruined her. Max could understand the situation, he would never forgive Lando if she wouldn't wake up but he could forgive him now because they and her brother were the only people knowing what happened and why it happen. Nobody knew Nina was in the hospital, because it wasn't anyone business to know.
Lando talked to Nina and told her many stories to let time pass and hopefully she would wake up and he could love her forever. Almost losing her made him realise he couldn't live without her, he would never love anyone else like he did love her. "Nina please wake up and forgive me. I love you forever" he would switch places with her brother quickly because he was almost there for eight hours, they all took 8 hours on a day to look after her and be there when she would maybe wake up. Just when her brother walked in, Lando felt his hand being squeezed. "Nina?", she opened her eyes and looked around the room "where am I?" she tried to push herself up but her arm were numb of not moving for a couple weeks. Lando cried his eyes out and hovered above her, "hey I'm here, you are alright". She placed her hand on his cheek "why are you crying?" he gave her a smile "you slept for sometime" she looked around and back at Lando "what happened?". He sighed a little and her brother laid his hand on his shoulder "Lando will tell you later, the doctors need to check you out first"
Her body was weak and she couldn't really do something, her spine was in bad state and her left leg was broken. But she didn't knew she skipped almost four weeks and she didn't remember anything of the accident. When the doctors told her she was in an car crash she laughed first, not believing it really happened. The doctors checked her and they were positieve of her recovery, she needed to rest for a couple weeks but after that there would be not lot left to see on her body of the crash. Lando was happy she was finally awake but he needed to tell her what happened between them and he really wished he didn't have to do it. What if her memory came back and she would be mad again, but he wanted to be honest and move on from this big mistake. Lando was waiting in the waiting room with her brother and Max walked in, Lando sat with his head in his hands still feeling guilty of everything. "Guys I'm sorry, I was the problem to cause all this, I didn't mean to hurt her", Max looked with calm eyes at Lando "we both know you didn't mean to let this happen, we all are just happy she is back with us. ", her brother nodded and that let Lando know they had forgiven Lando over the past few weeks.
But would Nina ever forgive Lando? Would she say it was a bit of her own fault or would she blame Lando for all this?
Would their love story end here or was it still the beginning of something beautiful?
