Higher power - Lando Norris

8. Unforgettable

It was party night for the Red Bull team because of the win for Max, the team was in a happy mood and was only busy with taking pictures and celebrating the win. I was really happy for Max but decided I wanted to go see George after his DFN. 

I walked toward the Williams garage when I spot Daniel outside of the Mc laren moterhome, I walk toward him and he seems to be a bit frustrated. "Hey Dan, everything alright?" I ask but he doesn't look at me, he look angry at his engineer. His engineer looks at me and shrugs not knowing what to say to angry Daniel "well I will talk to you later, seem your friend wants to talk to you" he quickly walks away leaving me standing there with a pissed of Daniel.

I put my hand on his shoulder and for the first time Daniel looks at me and whispers "I'm sorry, I'm just mad that every time it goes well, the car either shuts down or I will have retire because there is a fault with the car." I knew Daniel didn't DFN today but didn't placed in the top ten either. I pulled Daniel into a hug "It's going to be okay, your time will come, I just know for sure" He hugs me thigh and I rub his back for comfort. He pulls back and I give him a small smile and he smiles back at me. Me and Dan never really used words because we were both crap at expressing our feelings. I kiss his cheek and tell him it's going to be fine, just when I was about to continue my way to the Williams garage Lando walks out. I smile at him and walks toward him, he rolls his eyes when I'm in front of him. I look at him with the 'what' face and say "well someone is in a bad mood for a p3 today" he sarcastically laughs "thanks, well now get out of my way" he walks pass me and I turn around in disbelieve because I don't understand that boy.

I'm pissed off by Lando but decide to not let that boy change my happy mood so I continue my way to the Williams garage hoping someone there will be happy to see me. As soon as I walk into the garage I see George, I walk toward him and see he is not in a good mood either. "Hey, how are you doing?" he smiles when he sees me "Well I'm a bit sad about the race of today but I will have to look forward and hope next race will go better for the team" I nod and look to all the people working at his car, staying silent for a moment "what's on your pretty mind?" suddenly George ask. I giggle "not much, thinking about how I will survive the party tonight" George laughs a little " Red Bull party are always crazy, just warning you" I look at him " will you be there tonight?" He shakes his head "no, not in the mood. Just gonna watch a movie and get some sleep" I nod, I was kind of dissapointed he will not be there but I understand. 

"Well I'm going back to Max otherwise he will miss me" I said laughing, George just nod. I kissed his cheek and said my goodbye when he calls my name "hey Nina, did I mess up by kissing you?" I look at him and think for a bit "no you didn't why?" and just like he did that morning he kissed me, this time in the middle of his garage. I feel him smiling through the kiss and I start to relax. He pulls back and looks me into the eyes "just what I needed" he said while giving me a wink. I slap his arm "you are unbelievable" he laughs "but you like it" I smirk "no, I do not" he gives me a faked shocked look and I laugh at his face while walking outside.

I returned to the hotel to get changed for tonight, I put on a little black dress who makes me feel like a bad bitch. I straighten my hair and put on a glam make up look. I look into the mirror with a big smile because I liked how I look tonight "Lets get this party started" I looked at my phone and saw it was already 8, I would meet max at 8 in the lobby to go to the party so I quickly grabbed my stuff and left.

When I walked into the lobby I felt tons of eyes on me, but I couldn't care less nobody could ruin my night right now. Max looked at my in shock and only said "woah, isn't that a bit too ..." I simply answered with " too what, can't handle my bad bitch side" I laughed at my own joke and Max gave up on changing my mind to dress a bit more formal.

We walked into the club and I saw the whole Red Bull team and some other drivers, I already thought 'this is going to be a fun night'. Max left my side as soon as we walked in so it was me,myself and I but I didn't care. I walked to the bar and ordered myself some whine, the man behind the bar winked at me while giving me my drink. I then looked around if I saw someone familiar when I spotted Daniel, I decided to go and say hi to him.

I walked toward him when he saw me and looked me up and down "my sister can't be walking around like that put on some clothes" I laugh " I am wearing clothes don't be a dramaqueen like Max was earlier tonight" he laughs and gives up, we talked for a little when Lando joined the conversation, he didn't notice me standing next to Dan until he said "hey da....." He looked me up and down and quickly looked away, I already had my second whine in my hand and because I'm a light-weight I couldn't handle the alcohol. "liking what you see, mr Norris" I said while winking at him. He ignores me and starts talking to Daniel about the race, he doesn't even looks me in my eyes. When Daniel decide to get us some new drinks it was just me and Lande so he couldn't ignore me.

I crossed my arm and looked mad at him "why are you ignoring me?" He rolls his eyes "I'm not ignoring you, I'm just not talking to you today" I laugh " that's exactly the same, now tell me why" he shakes his head " why would I?" I roll my eyes "because you can't ignore me for nothing and not tell me what I did wrong because then there would be nothing wrong" my drunk brain didn't even know if that sentence made sense but I didn't care. Lando looked pissed off by my investigation so he wanted to change the subject " So how is your boyfriend, where is he tonight?" I looked at him in shock " My boyfriend?! I don't have a boyfriend and if I had one it would be none of your business" he laughs " So you can ask me a question who I need to answer but you want to keep your life private, I'm not a stupid person to mess with Nina"

I roll my eyes "ugh whatever, you are just jealous" he looked away not knowing what to say, I noticed he get uncomfortable  so I decide to not push him further. "congrats on your p3 by the way, you didn't seem too happy about it" he shrugged "I had a rough morning so I will be happy with the p3 tomorrow just want this day to pass" he finally looks at me again and I give him a pity face while pulling him into a hug, I'm really not thinking straight anymore. He hugs me back what surprises me because of the argument we just had.

When Daniel came back I just pulled back out of the hug and he looks at me with a confused face, I give him an innocent smile so he wouldn't ask about it. I suddenly have the urge to dance so I yell at the boys "lets hit the dance floor" which Daniel reacts to with " we just got a new drink let finish that fist" without even thinking about it I downed my drink in one second, Daniel takes the challenge and before I knew his beer was gone. We both look at Lando, knowing he normally doesn't drink but he made an exception this night because of his shitty day. He sights and downed his drink too.

We danced on the dance floor and I noticed Lando wasn't sober anymore, he came closer and closer until he almost stood behind me. I was grinding against Lando and Daniel already left us because of the tension between us, I laughed at Lando he looked wasted so I decided it was the best for both of us the leave. I grabbed his hand and said goodbye to some people before hitting the sideways with Lando to get back to the hotel. We laughed our asses off being this drunk together.  We finally were back into the hotel and I pressed the button of the elevator, we both got in....................

Sorry for leaving the story at this point but I need to think of how I want this to go, I just uploaded chapter four and I got the first vote, really happy about it.

I hope this end while build up some excitement for the next chapter, tell me in the comment section what you think will happen next. btw this story is really long so I don't know if the next chapter will be as long as this one because I just suck at skipping time in the story, these 8 chapters are about like 4 days.
