Higher power - Lando Norris

3. Didn't expect you here

(A/N: I didn't thought about the third chapter so I'm going with the flow and we will see where it goes... hope you enjoy xx)

I walk to the press room and see there are a lot of people waiting for the drivers to come out, I see Max his assistent and walk towards her. Vicky and I know each other for quiet some time now, so when she saw me I was pulled into a hug straight away. "Finally you are here, I missed you, what took you so long?" I simply answer with " I was busy with schoolwork" she nods and before she can ask another question the drivers take a seat.

There were four drivers at the front, Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Raikkonen, Max and Lando. I looked at Max and he waved at me as soon as he saw me looking at him. I smiled and waved back. The first question was for Kimi and the second question was for Lewis. Then there was a question being ask for Max: "What are your expectations for this race weekend?" Max thinks for a bit and answers with: "Well it is my home race and my cousin is here this weekend so i hope I will get p1 of course! The car was the last few races really good so I hope it the same here and that the team can get the best results possible" Vicky nod at him for giving a simple but great answer, I always thought highly of Vicky. Max, he can be really difficult when things don't go his way. Then there was a question for Lando: "Do you think Mc laren will get good points or a podium this weekend? " He seems to find the question funny " I don't know, I can't look in the further but the car really improved over the years, so yes I thinks we will get point and maybe even a podium. But it's a different track then the last few so we will see" 

All the drivers need to answer a few more question before the last question is asked to Lando, the man asked: " So Lando the girls want to know, are you still single?" Lando giggles and looks at Max who gives him the 'what the fuck' look. Lando simply replies with: "First of all I think it's irrelevant because this is the time you aks me questions about the race. Second of all it's none of your business and third of all yes I'm still single." I giggle at his responds, probably a little to loud because Lando looked at me with a confused face. I quickly look away, feeling make cheeks warm up, then Vicky grabs my arm and pulls me toward the exit. We meet Max outside and he seems to be happy with his answers, Vicky confirms it with: "you did a great job, no insults, no drama" They high-five each other and then Max asks me if I want to leave, I nod and we are on our way to the exit of te paddock.

Max  was free for the rest of his day, so we went back to the hotel to get some relax time for ourself. We both loved to be alone for a bit after a busy day. I laid on my bed for a while and then decided to go for a run, I quickly put on my black leggings and pink sport bra. I texted Max that I was going on a run and that I would meet him for dinner at 6. I put my headphones in and turned my music on, listing to Passionfruit by Drake . I went outside and decided to go for a long run. I run up a hill and decided to get a bit of rest before heading back, I could see a lot of te little town from my view.

After fifteen minutes of break, I stood up turned around and looked straight in the eye of Pierre. I jumped and screamed a little "What the fuck Pierre, I almost died from fright" He burst out in laughter, I give his arm a soft smack " not funny Pierre" He wipes away a tear from laughing "It was funny for me, I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you" I look away annoyed and answer with "sure, what are you doing here anyway?" He looks at my outfit "simply the same thing you are doing, staying fit and healthy"

"you didn't follow me, right?"

"no I just got here like 2 seconds ago"

"great, well Pierre wanna see who is faster on this road?" I say with a big smirk on my face, little does he know I played fieldhockey almost my entire life till last summer, when all of my teammates stopped playing so I also left my hockeyclub. "sure, I'm for sure faster in a car but I can easily run faster than you" he said with a lot of confidence. I counted down form 3 to 1 and I sprinted away from him, I was back at the hotel in 15 minutes. I waited in front of the hotel when Pierre finally finished too. I was still out of breath but manege to say: " still so confident about being faster than me?" He looks at me  also out of breath and replies: "fuck off"

When we both got ourselfs together we went in the hotel and I said bye to Pierre. I went into my hotelroom and straight to the bathroom to shower. I turned on the shower and played the song Good days by SZA I sang the song hitting all the notes, quiet proud I step out of the shower and dried myself before getting dressed in some sweatpants and a white top. I checked my phone seeing it was already 6.05, I grabbed my phone and keycard and walked to the dinner place at the hotel. I saw Pierre and Max already sitting on a table, I walked towards the table and sat down.  We ate some food and I told Max about the run and how I won from Pierre. We had a great time and almost sat there for 3 hours when the waiter told us that they were closing.

We took the elevator and Pierre was the fist one to get out, I gave him a hug and he went to his room. Max and I spoke a bit bout our plans for the next day before getting out of the elevator and we walked towards our rooms. We hugged and said goodnight before we both went into our room. I then called Liv.

When she picked up the phone I said really quick: "sorry that I'm calling an hour later than we had planned but dinner was really fun" she laughed and told me to not worry about it " So how is it in Austria, find yourself a hot driver already" I giggle: " of course not, Max would go nuts if i would date anyone he competes with. But i have made a new friend called Pierre, Pierre Gasly." Liv was happy that I already liked it to be here. We talked a bit about Liv her upcoming family day and laughed about her not wanting to see her weird uncle. We then said our goodbyes and I hung up. I put my phone on the charger and change in a oversized shirt. As soon as my head hits the pillow I'm already asleep. What a day........

A/N

That's it the third chapter, I don't really know if this is a long chapter or if i should make it even longer, if got 1280 words, idk. What do you guys think?

Also this first day was really detailed and long but I will skip sometimes a few days or days will go a lot faster but I think it's great to spend a full day with Nina so u get to know her and what she is like. I really enjoy reading these chapters and I think maybe I'm going to upload the fist chapter tonight, scary...
