Higher power - Lando Norris

10. Speechless

It was Wednesday night and I just got ready to eat dinner with Pierre, I walk toward the restaurant when I spot the blond, blue eyed boy standing there talking to another boy. I couldn't see who he was talking to because I looked at the back of this person. I walked up to Pierre with a smile on my face " hey, sorry I'm a bit......" I look straight in the eye with Lando and my heart drops to my stomach not knowing what to say. We didn't talk or see each other after our kiss.

I look at Pierre and start the sentence again, ignoring Lando to not make thing awkward "Sorry I wanted to say I'm sorry for being a little late" He looks a bit confused at my shock reaction from earlier "It's okay, you're here now so we can get inside. I invited Lando too, I though you wouldn't mind" I nod " No I don't mind we are all just friends" I smile at Pierre, who already is walking to the entry while I look back at Lando. He looks confused at me, probably because I just told him we we're just friends. 

The dinner was quiet fun, a bit awkward but I just ignored it. We walked out of the restaurant and I giggled because of Lando and Pierre arguing about if we were going to walk back of grab a taxi to the hotel. They both look at me, I had to made the decision. I chose Pierre his idea of walking back to the hotel. I had a few glasses of whine so it would be good for me, I would be sober by the time we were back at the hotel.

We walked to the streets of the small town we were staying. We talked about the upcoming race and then suddenly Pierre asked out of nowhere "why did you guys leave Max party early last weekend?" I don't know what to say and look at Lando with a 'you can answer this question' face Lando thinks for two seconds before saying "We were both tired and had a few glasses of alcohol so we both thought it was best to leave a bit earlier" Pierre laughs at his answer " yeah you both were a mess at the party, you guys looked very close when you left" I laugh a bit nervous and look away. Lando also doesn't know what to say to Pierre his investigation.

We walk in silence for a bit before Pierre starts about the party again not leaving the topic before getting answers to his question "Did you guys sleep together that night?" I look at him with a shocked face "of course not you dumb ass" He throws his hands in the air "I don't know, maybe you guys are in a secret relationship, knowing Max would kill Lando if you would ever date him" Me and Lando say at the same time "no" 

I escaped the conversation when we finally arrived at the hotel. I walked into the hotel really fast trying to get away as fast as possible. I turn to Pierre and hug him "thanks for tonight" I then turn to Lando and I hug him really fast not knowing what to do. He hugged me back and looked away when I pulled back. I wanted to know what he was thinking but remembered I couldn't ask him because Pierre was right next to him "Well boys have a nice night, goodnight" and with that I turned on my heels and walked toward the elevator, luckily it opened really fast and I got in.

 Pressing the button of my floor and looking at the boys still standing in the same spot talking about something. I suddenly make eye contact with Lando and before I knew it, he winked at me. I didn't know how to respond so I quickly looked away, knowing my cheeks were bright red by now.

I walked into my hotelroom kicking off my heels, I unzipped my dress and let it slip of my body. I stepped out of the dress and I now was only wearing underwear. I grabbed my hair brush and brushed out my hair. I played some music while I still walked half naked through the room. The next song was Kiss me more by Doja cat I loved that song and I sang the lyrics perfectly. I used my brush as microphone and danced through the room, when suddenly I hear a knock on the door. I checked the time and I saw it was already midnight. I put on a robe and walked to the door. I opened it and saw Lando standing there looking at his phone "what are you doing here Lando?" he looked at me standing there with a robe on and then looked back into my eyes " I couldn't stop thinking about you" I laugh "Lando we were both drunk, it didn't mean much to both of us I guess" he seemed to be disappointed  by my responds "Well I liked it and it meant something to me" he admits. I look at him with a confused face "I thought you were jealous of someone?" he looks at his feet " yea, I was umh I was jealous of George"

I step aside and mention to Lando to get inside, he walked over to my bed and sad down at the side of it. "why would you be jealous of George?" I said still standing. "because....he.... he was kissing you" I looked at him in disbelieve, this boy was jealous because he wanted to kiss me instead George did "Lando, are you kidding me right now, this is not something to joke about" He look at me dead serious "Yes Nina, I'm not joking, I was and still am jealous of George" I walk through my room not knowing what to say or to think "Well, what am I supposed to say to you now, I don't even know what to think" he sighted "I was expecting this answer so don't feel bad" with that he stands up walking to the door. "Lando, please don't go, let's talk about it" he turns around looking a bit mad "what do you want to talk about? It was stupid of me okay? " he said annoyed 

"I.. I, sorry Lando just leave if you feel like it" with that he walked out of my room and I sat down on the bed. What the hell did just happen, it was just a kiss and he catch feelings for me. What the hell am I supposed to do now, thing were just going great between me and George. I was so confused, I felt lost not knowing what to do next.
