Higher power - Lando Norris

15. H.O.P.E ( hold on, pain ends)

The doors of the elevator opened and I saw Lando standing looking a bit nervous. He was looking around at people probably trying to distrack himself, it was cute. We suddenly make eye contact and their grew a smile on his face, it makes me blush a bit, he looked really handsome with his black button up and black pants. It was simple but it complimented his strong arms and great body shape. I'm finally in front him and I decide to speak up and break the eye contact "hey, you look handsome tonight" he smiles and looks at my body, respectfully  "you look stunning Nina" he kisses my cheek and puts one hand in front of me, I grab his hand and he leads me through the exit onto the streets. His Mc laren already stood outside and he opened the passengers seat for me, I get in "thank you sir" I say laughing, he chuckles and closes the door. He gets into the drivers seat and looks at me "you ready?" I smile at him "yes, or should I prepare" he shakes his head laughing and turns on the engine. I smile at the sound of the car, it was really pretty like a tiger who was roaring.

While Lando had to focus on the road I could look at him, he looked so sexy behind the steering wheel. "You like what you see miss Verstappen" I quickly look away and I feel my cheeks heat up again. He suddenly puts his hand on my thigh and I feel my stomach twitch at the feeling. "I'm sorry if that makes you uncomfy, I should of asked first" he said while replacing his hand. I giggle "don't be nervous Lando, it's okay, it's comfortable" he quickly looks me in the eye and smile before putting his hand back on my thigh and focusing on the road again.

We arrive at a really expensive restaurant and I look at Lando while I stop with walking. Because we were holding hands he noticed really fast "something wrong sunshine?", "That's way to expensive Lando, I would have been fine with everything" he laughs and goes to stand in front of me, he looks me in the eye and puts his hand on my cheek "tonight is on me darling, just enjoy. You know I make enough money to take you out like a place like this" I smile at him "but", "no you can't say no, it's on me and now just enjoy tonight" I nod and just when I though he would walk toward the restaurant he kisses my cheek, I giggle in respons.

We get to our table and order some drinks, I get some white wine and Lando sticks to water because he had to drive us back tonight and race tomorrow. He sees that I'm still a bit nervous about the luxury vibes the restaurant was giving. He grabs my hand and rubs his thumb over my knuckles, I smile at him and he looks just really hot in the dimmed light. "So how are you? You had a lot on your plate today with Max" I nod and take a sip before I speak "He was really mad, Charles tried to kiss Kelly knowing damm well it's Max his girlfriend. So I get that he got mad but when Max gets really angry he doesn't think or sees clear." Lando just listens to the story and nods in agreement "Well and Kelly was a mess when I walked in, Max already took his anger out on his driversroom so I get why she was so upset. It's really scary sometimes when Max looses his temper, when we were young he would sometimes take his anger out on me or my brother with family gatherings. Thank god he wasn't as strong as now or I wouldn't know if I had survived as ten year old girl." Lando laughs "you and Max have a lot in comment but you are also the opposite of him" I nod "yea some things are family things like I also lose my temper quiet quickly and we both find family the most important people. Me and Max always kept our promise about family above everything. One time when we though my mother would pass away, Max skipped his first and second practise to be with me and her, it meant the world to me" I felt comfortable talking about family to Lando he just gets it and doesn't push me any further. We were both eating but sometimes he gave me a smile to let me know he was still listening. 

"Did your mom pass away or is she still with you? If you don't want to talk about it, I get it just tell me" I nod "she was diagnosed with cancer two years ago, she fought a long battle and she is almost at the end of it. She wants to stay strong but it's difficult chemo is getting the best of her. She isn't her old self anymore and it hurts" without knowing a single teardrop felt from my eye onto my cheek. Lando stood a bit up and whipped the tear with his thumb of my cheek. It made me feel really peaceful, he just cared without saying a word. "I'm sorry to hear Nina, I'm here for you if you ever need a shoulder to cry on or if you want to talk about it" I nod "thanks Lando, that means a lot to me. My mother would really like you" he smiles "maybe just maybe I will still meet her one day" I smile "I hope so". We finish our diner and decide we decide to get some ice cream at the end of the street. Lando stood on paying the bill so I let him but he promised me I could pay the next date. Yes were going on a second date, it just went so great.

We walked towards the ice cream car, I hold his hand and looked up at the sky. I always loved stars, they had just something magical. I look back at Lando, he was already looking at me and I smile at him. "You look cute in this light, I though you didn't want to go on a date with me after you rejected me after the first time" I lean a bit against his arm while grabbing his upper arm with my other hand. "I didn't reject you, I had other plans. I really was going to dinner with Vicky that night. You saw me drunk remember" He laughs "I though you didn't remember anything of the hallway incident" I giggle "I know a bit not every detail", "well you asked me if I liked you". I laugh "and what did you answer", "I literally was standing next to mister ' I'm gonna kill you if you say yes', so I said we can talk about it another time" I giggle " is this another time to talk about it", "I think you already know the answer or I hope you do. I was jealous of mister two girls, George and I told you multiple time you are beautiful. That's a lot for me who normally doesn't like girls or talking to girls" I laugh at his responds and stop walking. He notice "something wrong Nina? did I say something wrong" I shake my head still with a smile on my face "Whats up then? you want to tell me you like me just as friends", "of course not dumb ass" and with that I close the distance between us and kiss his lips, I again surprised myself with my boldness. He didn't respond first but then he kissed me back and let his hands slip to my back. It was a lot different then our first kiss because this kiss meant something to both of us and it was a nice cute kiss.

We both pull back after a couple of minutes of a passionate but easy kiss. He smiles at me "does that mean you like me too?" I nod still standing really close, he pecks my lips before grabbing my hand again and putting his arm around my shoulders. He looked really happy all of a sudden and I felt it too, just so carefree and still pure and exciting. We made our way to the ice cream car and both ordered some ice cream, we ate our ice cream and made our way in silence back to the hotel, just enjoying each other company. We walked to the entry of the hotel and got into the elevator. He walked me to my room and I turned around when we were there. 

"Thanks for tonight Lando, I really enjoyed it" he smiled "I liked it too, we should definitely do this again some time" with that he closes the distance agains and pecks my lips a couple of time, he stayed a few inches away  "goodnight sunshine", "goodnight milky boy"
