Chapter 29: "call me johnson"

It's Monday morning (aka my first day of high school) and I feel like I am going to throw up. My stomach is doing backflips as I eat cereal, and it's like my stomach is about to throw up a rainbow mess of fruity pebbles. My phone goes off with a text, and I check my phone to see who it is.
It's Matt.
Matt: hey babe! Hope you have a great day at school gorgeous!
Stephanie: aw thank you Matt! I miss you.
Matt: I miss your clothes being on my floor instead of on you;)
Stephanie: ha ha they're will be plenty of that when I visit for Spring break
Matt: I love you
Stephanie: love you too
I turn off my phone and grab my bag. I straighten out my dress and wait for my Aunts assistant or whatever to drive me. The lady opens the front door and walks out to the car, and I follow. She starts up the car as I stare at her flawless makeup.
"My names Nicole." She smiles.
"I'm-" she cuts me off.
"Stephanie, yes, of course. I can't wait to get to know you better!" She beams.
"Me too!" I say, just as exited. Since I got her and met pretty boy Sammy, things haven't been that bad. This Nicole lady seems so nice, and I can say in all honesty, that I'm exited to be her friend.
"Have a nice day!" She says. I smile and step out of the car.
"Woah." I say in aw. If this is the entrance to the school, the inside must be a dream.
"Are you lost?" Sammy asks me.
"Not yet." I laugh, walking with him into the school.
"The main office is that way." He points to a little building next to the school.
"Wait...the school is outside?" I ask. He breaks into this laughing fit and then looks at me all serious.
"Didn't you know that?" He asks. I smile and shake my head. He places his arm around my shoulder and walks me to the office.
"Hello Miss. Gyotie! We have a new student!" He beams. I smile and wave a little. She tips her glasses down and smirks.
"Name?" She asks.
"Stephanie Brooks." I say. She types something into the computer. Something prints out of the printer and she rolls her chair over and takes it out.
"Here." She says, and hands the paper to me. I look it over and I see Sammy looking at it too.
"Thank you." I smile. She goes back to typing and he walks me out of the building.
"Sweet! Your in a lot of my classes!" I smile and we walk over to the area where all the lockers are. There's only a roof, which isn't even a roof, it's just one of those metal fences.
"What happens when it rains?" Sammy chuckles.
"You hope to god that you have an umbrella." I laugh a little and look at my schedule.
"I'm locker 366." He scans over the lockers and then points to one.
"Right over there. Hey, I gotta get to my locker. I'll see you later, okay?" I smile and nod.
"Bye Sammy." I say.
"Bye Steph." He says. I walk over to my locker and after two tries I pull the lock off. I put my backpack in and take out my folders and binders. I find my way to one of the classrooms which is thankfully in an actual classroom. I walk in and all eyes are on me. I slip into a desk and every guy is staring at me. Literally every single one.
"Um..hi?" I say, which comes out like a question. They all smile and some even laugh. One of the guys moves over to the desk next to me. He sits on the chair so the back of it is leaned against his chest. He puts his hand out and smiles.
"I'm Jack." He says. I smile and shake his hand. A blonde boy stands next to him and crosses his arms over his chest.
"Sorry about my over flirtatious friend." He says, and rolls his eyes. I laugh and awkwardly sit there.
"I'm Jack." He says, and I shake his hand too.
"So your both Jacks?" I laugh.
"Jack and Jack baby!" He says, and does this handshake with the other Jack. I laugh, and then the teacher walks in.
"Which ones the new one?" She smiles. Jack and Jack point to me and I laugh.
"I am." I say. She looks at me and smiles.
"Hello, Stephanie. Welcome to Burbank Highschool."
"Thank you." I say. The periods go by quick, and it's finally time for lunch. I grab my lunch bag out of my locker and find my way to the Cafeteria. I walk in and see Sammy sitting with Jack and Jack. They're also a girl there. Sammy sees me and waves me over. I sit down next to blonde haired Jack and smile.
"What's up?" Sammy says.
"Nothing much." I say, opening my lunch bag.
"Stephanie this is Ellie, Ellie this is Stephanie." She smiles and waves.
"Hi!" She says.
"Hi!" I say back. Jack stares at me, and I stare back at him.
"Do I have something in my teeth?" I laugh. He smiles and shakes his head.
"You look so familiar...." He says. I shrug.
"Did you have a boyfriend back home?" The other Jack asks. I look down and nod, blushing.
"What was his name?" Ellie asks.
"Matthew." I smile.
"SHES ESPINOSA'S GIRL!" Jack and Jack say at the same exact time.
"You know Matt?" I ask them. They nod and smile.
"One of our best friends!" Sammy says.
"Okay... Sorry to change the subject, but what can I call one of you so I don't mix you guys up?" I laugh. Jack and Jack smile and blonde haired Jack laughs.
"Call me Johnson." He says.
"Okay...Johnson." We all finish lunch, and before I knew it, I was back at my Aunts house.
I think California will be good after all.
