Leah was waiting for me outside her small house with an overnight bag in her hand. This was the first time I ever saw her in real clothes. She wore simple jeans and a buttoned up plaid shirt but nothing was ripped up.

"Real clothes without holes." I greeted her. "I guess we'll have to keep you nice and calm so they stay that way."

She laughed and squeezed into the car. "So do you know what kind of car are you getting?" She was trying to get comfortable In Bella's little sports car. "I hope it's bigger than this little box."

"Ya, I think I know what I want and almost anything would have more room than this. I really do like this car though. It's kind of sexy and it's fast."

Leah nodded in agreement, "I would love a car like this if I wasn't so huge."

“You're not huge." I assured her. "You’re modelesque; tall and slim. You'd be gorgeous if you smiled more." she glared at me but I was serious. Leah was beautiful with shoulder length shiny, black hair, high cheekbones, even dark tan skin and she was at least six feet tall. "I’m not joking Leah. You should come see me in New York sometime, see what the big time agents say." She laughed but I could tell she was thinking about it.

After singing with the radio for a while I turned it down to tell Leah my plans for the day. "Before we go shopping, I need to stop at the car dealerships and make my final decision. Luckily they are right next to each other."

"What are you choosing between?"

"A Nissan Pathfinder or a new Range Rover.”

“Are you taking one home today?"

"Do you have a driver’s license to drive this back to the Cullen’s"

"No. I forgot about that."

"Its ok. I need some changes made to whatever I decide to get anyway. I need the windows tinted and I have to make sure I have an amazing sound system put in. It helps with the long cross-country drives.

We shopped at one dealership then the other called Watts Automotive and I decided on a dark grey Range Rover. Of course the salesman was skeptical about selling an expensive car to a young girl but they were surprised to find that I knew what I was talking about. I loved being underestimated because it usually proved to be my best weapon.

Leah stood back and watched me work as I told them about the windows and radio. When I negotiated a fair price every sales person watched in amazement. Then my salesman, Chuck, started talking about getting me a loan. I smiled on the inside as he told me it was very unlikely for and bank to finance such a large amount for such a young girl.

I kept quiet until he stopped talking, "Who said I needed a loan Chuck? And how young do you think I am?"

"Well you can't be much older than 18. Actually you look closer to 16."

"Chuck I am 23 and I don't need a loan." It was fun watching him squirm as I reached into my wallet and pulled out an American Express Black Card. His jaw dropped when he saw it. He was even more surprised when I handed it to him and he saw my name in raised letters on the font.

"Is there a problem Chuck? I'm sure there is more than enough on that card to cover the cost. But I would like you to only charge half now and the rest when I come back to pick it up."

He nodded and slowly walked out of the room with my card still lying on his open palm. All the other salespeople followed Chuck into the main office.

Leah leaned into me, "What the hell just happened? Was that really a Black Card? Are you rich?"

"Ok. I'm going to answer those questions backwards. Yes, my family does have a lot of money. Some was inherited and the rest my parents made with their businesses. None of it is illegal. Yes, that was a real Black Card. I own some properties myself plus what I inherited from my grandparents. To answer your fir a Black Card. Actually it's not really a big deal I've had that card for years. My parents put in a good word for me." I smiled and leaned back in my chair.
