"Twelve hours to go before the business summit ends." Jung Kook whispered into Minji's ears. Minji hit his arm then chuckled. The event is almost empty as there are fewer guests but they have to be sure that they are there to cover the event until the last minute.
"Pack your things during lunch." He instructed. Minji was texting her Tia Isabelle to ask if Jung Kook can stay to her apartment and the older lady agreed. She also sent a picture of her with her children. Minji answered the phone when Tia Isabelle called. She did not leave the room anymore as the event hasn't started yet.
"I miss you so much, Tia...are you still going home?" There was silence on the line and Minji knows that her Tia Isabelle is having second thoughts already. She looks so happy with her children and the fact that Atty. Choi isn't fully healed is an additional factor to prolong her vacation.
"I..don't know yet...I'm happy with my children here, I'll be honest. How are things between you and Jung Kook?" She hasn't told her Tia Isabelle about her miscarriage as she might dislike Jung Kook.
"Hi Tia, how are you?" Jung Kook took the phone from her so he can speak with her. "I miss you, too."
"Take care of my Minji. If she gets mad at you for no reason, just fuck her brains out." Jung Kook chuckled.
"Yes, Tia. I'll do that." He glanced at Minji whose eyes are asking what her Tia Isabelle is telling him. He returned the phone back to Minji.
"Tia...what are you telling Jung Kook?" She smilingly asked.
"Just to love you...because you are precious." Minji smiled but confused as to why Tia Isabelle is giggling on the other line.
Minji said her goodbye to Tia Isabelle when the event started. Just like yesterday, they did rounds of interview, but this time, they are speaking with businessmen who are just starting. Minji can sense that Jung Kook is enjoying talking to them as he too is starting a company on his own.
They were about to go out from the hall for a quick break when a woman's voice caught their attention.
"I knew it was you, Jeon." They turned their heads and Minji saw a tall woman with gorgeous strawberry blonde hair who approached them. Jung Kook's eyes widened looking at her. They both exchanged smiles.
"It's been a while since I last saw you...look at you." The woman commented while scanning his body. Minji felt her blood boil looking at how she looks at Jung Kook.
"How are things at MC?" She asked.
"Better. Might expand." Jung Kook took tapped Minji's arm. "This is Lee Minji. One of our best editors." Minji was a bit frustrated that Jung Kook did not introduce her as her girlfriend but understood that it is too soon for that. She extended her arm for a handshake but the woman just ignored her.
"Our company is looking for a regional manager. Offer's hefty. We can be colleagues..." She winked at him. Minji's lips just pursed and was about to walk away but Jung Kook held her hand.
"Thank you, Ashley but I am happy where I am right now. Also, my girlfriend's my priority now." Jung Kook kissed Minji's head which baffled Ashley. "It was nice running into you..." He gripped Minji's hand. "Babe, let's go, our child is waiting in our room." Jung Kook lied. They walked away, but Minji turned back to give Ashley a mocking smile.

They were drinking coffee inside the hotel's resto-bar. Minji was caressing his hands and can't stop smiling. Jung Kook's brows furrowed but laughed a little seeing how silly Minji is acting.
"Why are you acting like that?" He asked.
"Nothing...I love you."Minji stared at him and place his hand on her cheek.
