Chapter 10: Flirting

"Sir, I'm sorry about what happened." the cashier apologized. "She ordered the pasta right away, I thought she knew it has shrimp."

"No need to apologize. I hope she made it okay." Jung Kook answered.

"I hope so. If she doesn't come back for her take-out, this will go to waste." the cashier breathed heavily.

The cashier's words pierced Jung Kook a bit when he remembered that he threw out the food that his unknown wife made.

"Can I buy it?" He asked.

"Uhmmm... it is a store policy that we have to wait 30 minutes before closing time before we can "give" this." the cashier explained.

Jung Kook was about to say something but he was cut off.

"...but because you are a regular, I can bend the rules." she winked at him. Jung Kook blushed a little.

"The strawberry will not taste good once the ice has melted. So make sure to drink it now."

"You can have it. Bet you're thirsty." Jung Kook smirked at her.

The cashier laughed out loud. "Sir, I like girls" she whispered.

Jung Kook's eyes widened. "I'm sorry..I didn't mean it that way...and I didn't know...you look so sweet."

The cashier smiled. "I was trying to hit on her. Definitely my type. We don't ask names for take-outs just wanted to know her. I even left my phone number inside the box."

Jung Kook chuckled. "That was smooth." Jung Kook just found a new friend.

"I'll prepare your food quickly." the cashier informed him. "And here's your take-out." She handed him the box. "Thank you for the milk tea." she winked again. She was definitely teasing him.

Jung Kook pressed his chest. "Anytime, bro"

Jung Kook went to their table.

"What took you so long?" Jimin asked. "You were staring at the long haired chick before she left."

"She was having allergies. Couldn't breath. I could've accompanied her to the emergency room but she ran out. She even forget her take-out." He showed them the take out box.

The food arrived shortly. "Why do you have her food?" Namjoon asked while he pours water into Jennifer's empty glass.

"Thanks babe."

"The cashier told me that this will be charged on her name so I bought it." He lied.

"We saw you flirting with her." Jennifer blurted.

Jung Kook almost almost coughed the food out. He drank a glass of water. "She's into girls. She asked me if you and Namjoon are going out."

Namjoon's eye went to the counter. The cashier noticed it and she smiled.

"Is this the reason why you always want to have lunch here?" Namjoon asked Jennifer.

Jung Kook was laughing on the inside. They are definitely going to fight.

Jennifer took a spoonful of salad. "This is where we met, dum-dum. Of course I love eating here." She placed the salad on Namjoon's plate. "Now, eat your greens."

"I just fall in love you with you all over again." Namjoon smiled and his dimples are showing. He gave her a quick kiss. 

"Proove it to me later?" Jennifer asked while she bit her lower lip making Namjoon blush. They both laughed.

Jung Kook and Jimin exchanged disgusted looks and continue with their meals.
