Minji spent three days at the hospital before she was released. Her friends visited her before they go to the office and the once cheerful Nam-il tightened his arms embraced around when she saw her breathing but has no will to live.

They tried to feed her but she will push the food aside. The only time that she would eat is when Chul forced her to.

"The sooner you regain energy, the sooner you can move on." He would tell her as he place the spoon near his lips.

Jung Kook sent flowers and fruits. She will ask Chul to throw it away.

"I didn't know he can be an asshole." Chul commented while Minji rested her head on Chul's shoulder. "I know people who can beat him up. Just say the magic word."

"Potato" She joked with her very dry and chappy lips.

Minji has been the talk in the office for the week. There are a lot of versions of the story but what Jung Kook heard the most was Minji's fiance might've visited her and of course, they had sex. Minji found out that he was cheating and broke the engagement. Minji, tried to forget with alcohol and cigarettes not knowing she was pregnant.

"That is why she was looking off these past weeks...the poor girl." Jung Kook heard this comment a few times already and as much as he would love to scold those people for spreading office rumors, he cannot do so as that will just raise suspicions. Moreover, he knows he is guilty for what happened to her and he should the one receiving the hate.

"She broke her engagement for me, I got her pregnant...and left her." Jung Kook had been crying inside his car far too much already as that is his only safe space. He admits that him and Minji hadn't been careful with their sex and that he can't control himself from releasing inside her when the intensity has become too much to pull out. Unconsciously, he was sure he was doing that on purpose to ensure that Minji stays with him because at the back of his mind, Minji being pregnant was supposed to be the start of their happy ending. Jung Kook was willing to give up his inheritance, the publishing company he is building, and even his position. He would've married her, raised a family with her and live the rest of his life showing him everyday new ways how to tell her that he loves her, but those are just dreams now. Minji would never forgive him.

He told Jimin everything except the part that of him being married, his inheritance and Hazeera. Jimin tapped his shoulder and for the first time, cried in front of his friend for a long time.

Chul and Delilah brought Minji home when she was released. Jung Kook consulted with HR and approved that Minji be on time-off for weeks. Park Hyerin agreed to do the interview without Minji but asked him that she will do the editing.

"When she's better, Hyerin." He answered.

Chul and Delilah took Minji home and stayed with them for a day but Minji would rather be in bed. Chul had to leave for work but promised her that he will be back soon.

"I don't know how else to thank you." She was hugging him.

"Just be better. You are the few people who accepted me. I don't want to lose you." He was rubbing her back.

Nam-il and Chiku visited the other day. They are now holding hands. Minji smiled at them and felt relief that her friends are having a happy ending that was given to her. They bought a sunflower plant for her.

"It's not good to be crying all day, unnie." Chiku was trying hard to comfort her. "I miss you smiling."

"You sure you want to be with Nam-il?" She joked. Chiku smiled and nodded and seeing her like that made Nam-il kiss Chiku on the head.
