Chapter 47: Last Day

Alejandro strangled her the moment she stepped inside their room.

"You reek of him...!" He was trying to keep his voice down so that Tyler will not wake up. Minji, however, did not care losing air. She's not even fighting back. Her mind was still filled with what happened between her and Jung Kook earlier and amazed at how she can still feel his lips.

"I sent you there to work..and you come back smelling like another man?!" He wrapped his belt around her neck and tightened it around her. Her legs stretched and curled before he loosened the belt. He did that to her a couple rounds before he finally let her sleep.

Morning came by quickly and Jung Kook was in the cafe, waiting for Alejandro as they agreed upon yesterday. He did not wait long enough and seeing him dressed in his A-line black suit disgusted him but he is playing it cool. He stood and bowed to him when Alejandro approached him and they both take their seats.

"Minji is still asleep...but she will help you today. You know, it's her last day after all." He reminded Jung Kook.

"I'm sorry sir...maybe I tired her up yesterday..." Alejandro  gripped on the coffee mug tightly at Jung Kook's choice of words.

"Uh no..." Alejandro chuckled. "She was okay when she got back last night...you know sometimes, I have to remind myself that I am no longer young like you...I didn't know where she is getting all that stamina from." He then pursed his lips and smiled at him.

"She did mention that she is excited to go to Japan." He smiled back and got himself a bread roll.

"Yes, she is. That's all she ever talked about last night while she was massaging my back." Alejandro then moved his neck side to side. "She did me well last night...massaging." Jung Kook wanted to punch him there but he promised himself not to make a scene.

"Oh.. Tell me about Minji's massages. One time, we were left alone in the office after my hands seemed stiff. She was sweet to offer a hand massage so I can avoid carpal tunnel." Jung Kook lied but seeing Alejandro's scowl satisfied him.

"Oh, that was nice of her...I felt bad for her though. She cried again last night recalling the story of the boy who left her when she was pregnant." He took a sip from his coffee but his eyes were challenging Jung Kook's.

"Sir...you should really keep an eye on her...I heard they are back together...and more intimate." He finished his breadroll and smiled.

Minji, unnoticed by both of them approached their table.

"Good morning, sir." She greeted Jung Kook. She is wearing a white blouse and a blue pencil skirt. The gray scarf on her neck is an eyesore to Jung Kook knowing that it has been used to cover her new bruises.

Alejandro stood and pulled a chair for her. When she was seated, he kissed Minji on the lips letting Jung Kook watch.

"Did you and Tyler eat breakfast?" He moved the strands of her at the back of her ears. Minji just nodded and shyly looked away and was trying to meet Jung Kook's gaze instead. The latter, however, is staring down on his black coffee. Alejandro's went around Minji's arms to pull her closer like an animal marking his territory but much to Minji's surprise, Jung Kook shows no signs of affection which makes her wonder if their conversation last night meant nothing to him.

There was silence among the three of them and the two men are trying to make each other believe that they are just enjoying a cup of coffee.

"Sir, I think that it's great that you are taking Minji with you to Japan..." Jung Kook broke the silence.

Alejandro lifted his head and looked at Jung Kook to smirk. They are staring at each other for a few seconds.

"It is a great decision...for us." Alejandro turned to Minji and lowered his grip down under her chest which made Minji gasp.
