After a week, Jung Kook's cast has been removed. He's gradually healing physically but his nightmares don't end.

The psychiatrist prescribed his medications which is supposed to help him have a deeper sleep but he doesn't like taking it because it makes him wobbly when he wakes up.

Minji's heart sank seeing his condition everyday. He's there physically but his mind is elsewhere. She tried her best talking to him but most often not, his response was either a nod, silence or "I want to rest".

"Where's the man that I love?" She asked herself whenever Jung Kook will gave her the cold shoulder. She couldn't blame him though for being indifferent.

Alejandro helped her everyday. He made arrangements for counselling and  he even arranged her time-off with MC Enterprises, they made it look like she got in a minor road traffic accident instead. Her friends have been calling her but she will just lie that she's okay.

She isn't.

She was in the balcony that night, talking to Sunshine. Some of her petals whithered when she was not able to water the plant while Jung Kook was admitted in the hospital. She felt bad about that too. She felt like she was a failure.

"Sunshine..." she told the plant. "Daddy is in an emotional turmoil now...please help him get better okay." She started to cry. "...because I miss him a lot."

She kissed the flower's crown and went down to join Jung Kook in bed, but when she turned on the lights and saw him slumped on the bed already, she didn't bother getting beside him. She took the "yo" back out and placed it on the floor before she turned off the lights. She was worried that Jung Kook might be having nightmares again and she would like to be nearby when that happens. She had been sleeping with a heavy heart for weeks already but she feels that she deserves it for all her lies.

Surprisingly, he did not have nightmares that night. And the night after.

Minji slept beside him for two days and for two straight days, she was awaken by his screams.

It was then that she concluded that she is the one causing his nightmares. She's triggering it. She cursed herself for being a her. She was right that she is a failure.

She decided not to sleep beside him anymore so he can have an undisturbed sleep. She sleeps in the couch instead, in case.

She woke up early to prepare breakfast for him. She's been crying a lot lately but she doesn't want to let him see how lonely it has been. She prepared a big breakfast: hash browns, bacon and eggs and strawberry jam toast. She arched her back and massaged her lower back . Uncomfortable nights have been normal for her the past few weeks.

She turned around and saw Jung Kook taking small steps, her pain seems to have subsided seeing his progress.

"Uhm...I'll just stroll nearby." He was like a kid asking permission, but his eyes are glued to the floor.

"C-can I walk with you?... I mean behind you?" However, she was the one who sounded like she needs his permission. 'Uhh--in case...you know, you get tired." She was worried that he might hurt his leg.

Jung Kook just nodded and walked away. Minji took bottled water from the fridge and  covered their breakfast with a lid before she followed him out as he struggled with his baby steps. She was giggling inside and had the urge to tease him on how cute he looks but she is hesitant that her jokes may be off for him. Jung Kook treats her differently now, after all.

She was just following him around. Some people looked at him, curious as to why he's walking like that, but Jung Kook doesn't seem to mind. When they reached the park, Jung Kook sat at the end of the bench and Minji on the other end. Sweat already formed on Jung Kook's forehead though they have not walked that far.
