The way back to the office is less than 5 minutes away by car, however there was a small road accident on the way. A motorcycle bumped into a van and the police is now clearing the area.
"Geez. C'mon." Jung Kook slapped the steering wheel. He looked at his watch. He then called someone on his phone. "Hi, are they already there?"
The car was moving slowly. "Okay, good. Please send me an email about rescheduling."
Minji looked up and see that his face is still flustered. His brows are still crossed and his hands are tightened around the steering wheel.
"Looking at me isn't gonna get us in the office faster." His eyes are still on the road.
"S--sorry"
When the police gave Jung Kook signal to pass, he stepped on the gas but pulled over before he can turn left.
"Get out." Jung Kook instructed without looking at her. MC Enterprises is just street away but Minji can already see the building from where they stopped.
Without asking why, Minji unbuckled the seatbelt and opened the door. "Thank you for the ride, sir. Sorry if I pissed you off." She smiled and get off the ride then walked straight ahead.
As Minji's reflection gets smaller on Jung Kook's side mirror as he drive away, he can't help but feel guilty but he thinks it is much better if he will stay away from her. He already risked his job earlier. His work is already stressful as it is and he cannot afford to include another one. After all, there is a woman at home who is already making his life miserable.
The rest of the day for Minji has been pretty normal except for Jung Kook who was being snarly whenever she's around. Their first day of training ended at 5 PM. They were asked to go down the reception to get their locker numbers. She was eager to go home because she is tired and also to avoid crossing paths with him. Jung Kook was still in his office when she passed by and although she wanted to bid goodbye, she forced not to as he looks really busy.
"He is your boss, he doesn't even know that you are his wife. Stop acting like he needs to acknowledge you." Minji scolded herself.
Minji was sitting on her bed and reviewing the topics discussed by Namjoon today so she can avoid repeating her embarrassment. She then received a notification that she has been added to a Kakao GC. The name of the group was: MCE - Editors (Team Jimin)
Jimin:

The girls replied a disgusted emoticon to him. She smiled. Nam-il was two years younger than him. He was playful around her and even wrap his shoulders around her.
