Minji was re-reading the materials that Kara gave her while she was fixing herself. She was wearing a peach chiffon blouse and a highwaist pencil skirt while she was brushing her hair. She was practicing the interview answers and at the same time reading the credentials of Lee Minji so she would really seem like her.

She didn't inform Atty. Choi that she would be having a job interview today because he wouldn't agree. Also she isn't sure if she will get the job. MC Enterprises is one of Seoul's biggest firms and according to her research, even the top performing students fail their assessment.

She watched make-up tutorials video on how to style her hair and apply make-up but she looks like five times worse with how she fill in her eyebrows. She decided to erase it and just apply the powder and liptint. She looked at herself one last time before she went outside. It's just 6 AM and Jung Kook might still be asleep. She exited at the back to make sure that he wouldn't see her.

Minji booked a taxi and in less than 5 minutes it arrived. She was reading the pointers again to make sure she didn't miss anything.

"Good luck miss." The driver smiled at her.

She thanked the driver and paid her fare. It was still early so she killed time by visiting a nearby cafe. She texted Kara that she is here now.

"You're two hours early." She replied.

"I anticipated traffic." Minji texted back.

She slowly drink her coffee while continuously reading back and forth the materials given by Kara. She wasn't religious but this time she really asked God to give her this job and she promised to do good with it.

She drank two cups of coffee and have memorized even the folds of the reading materials before she decided that it's time to get inside the building. It's already 8:10 and people are getting inside. She informed the receptionist that she'll be having an assessment today so she handed out three copies of her resume. The receptionist asked her to sit on the lobby while she wait for her name to be called.

In less than 10 minutes, a tall lady called her names as well as three others and requested her to follow her. She did what she was told. They went inside a room filled with computers and the lady asked them to sit at least two seats apart.

They did what they are told. The lady walked in the middle of the room and announced: "My name is Mina and I will be conducting your assessment to check if we can endorse you for a final interview. Open your computer and answer the questions. If you fail one section, that means that you have to stop taking the test. You may re-apply after three months. The last part of the assessment is essay and will be sent to our clients today. If they find your work to be up to their standards, we will be taking you to their site for a final interview with their top managers."

Mina took a quick glance on her wrist watch. "It's now 8:35 in my watch. You may start."

Minji opened the computer in front of her and began the assessment. The first part of the exam was personality and IQ. There were 30 questions for that section alone. She inhaled before she clicked the "submit" button. She felt relieved when the test prompted her to answer the next section of the assessment-- grammar and language proficiency. The second part was timed. She was only given 20 minutes to answer 45 questions. The room was air-conditioned but sweat rolled down her forehead due to the difficulty of the assessment.

When she was about to finish section four, the girl on her right stood up and went in front. The proctor thanked her for her time and handed a piece of paper. Minji got nervous knowing that she can fail. "Come what may" she told herself before she finished section four. She almost jumped out of her seat when her screen prompted her to answer section five.

There are two activities on section five. The first one is a poorly written article which she needs to re-write. She read the article first and corrected the grammatical errors. When she was done, she re-read the whole piece to get clarity on the message and re-arranged some of the sentences and paragraph for coherence. The last thing that she did was develop each paragraph according to the message and tone of the article. She wasn't feeling confident about her work because the essay was 6 paragraphs long and she was able to shorten it to four.

The second activity was titled, "Defend Hitler in less than 1000 words". This was a bit tricky for her because no one would like to justify the Holocaust perpetrator.
She was thinking of a good opening for her article and her argument but her morale is getting in the way while she was composing her piece. She decided to shift focus, highlighting the good deeds that Hitler has done but with each action that she is trying to defend, her thought was "Hitler is a bad person."

"Hitler is a bad person." That snapped her out of her writer's block and began to let her thoughts flow like an endless stream.

When she was done, the proctor asked her to wait back in the lobby to wait for the next steps.

The lobby was filled with applicants just like her. Some are talking while most prefer to fidget their fingers to wait for the result. She sat on a couch beside two girls who seemed like bestfriends and closed her eyes.

Someone tugging her hair awakened Minji. When she opened her eyes, she saw Kara in front of her. She was chewing a gum.

"Your proctor asked me to give this to you." She handed out a magnetic key ring. The words MC Enterprises were written in gold.

"Does this mean that I passed?" She asked while she stretched her arms upward.

"You did well, Ivy League. You ranked third on the assessment and MC Enterprises approved you for final interview."

Minji took the key ring from Kara's hands. "What am i going to do with this?"

"The driver is waiting for you outside. They will take you to MC Enterprises. Hand that to the receptionist so that it will be activated. They will tell you the details." Kara explained.

"Thank you. I'll go ahead." Minji stood.

"Ivy League, be confident. Their managers can smell fear. You don't want to dig your own grave."

She nodded. "Call me, Minji." She smiled faintly.

Kara laughed, "Okay, Ivy League. Good luck!"

She was standing in front of MC Enterprises, a 10 storey building in tainted black glass. It look so corporal as the people going in and out are mostly in suits or designer brands. She fixed her blouse before she went in.

She did exactly what Kara did. She handed the key ring to the receptionist. The receptionist dialed a number and while she was waiting for someone to answer she asked her to put her name on the log book.

"Yes, activate the key ring. It's for the final interview." The receptionist was talking to someone on the phone.

She put the phone down and handed the key ring back to her. "Your key ring has been activated. Your final interview is at room 71. That is on 5th floor. Just tap the key ring on the floor and it will open. Sarah Anderson is already there waiting for you."

She nodded and was about to turn back when the receptionist said, "Also, she can be quite...straightforward. Think of Miranda Priestly."

She laughed at the receptionist's reference. It was more than enough to describe who will be her interviewer.

"Too bad I did not eat onion bagel." She joked before she went to the elevator.

The elevator trip to the 5th floor was quick as there are few people inside. She looked around the floor and saw Room 71 on the left. The granite floor was shining and she can see her reflection while she was walking. Before she tap the key ring on the door, she checked her breath first thinking that it is really Miranda Priestly behind the door.

She also sprayed a bit of perfume on her body and fanned her neck.

"This is it, Athena. Do well." She tapped the key ring and the door automatically opened. However, she froze from where she was standing when she saw that the person behind desk isn't Miranda Priestly. And she is sure that it wasn't Sarah Anderson too.

It was Jung Kook.
