Every story has an end, some being happy and others not quite as much, but for shoto, he didn't know what type of ending he would get.

He questioned the significance of happy endings, knowing that there will be a day after that wouldn't be as joyful as the previous.

But he hoped that his ending would be spectacular like a cheesy romcom movie.

A few months had passed from the terrible news he had gotten, he wasnt over it, not yet, but he had made peace with it and was ready to get to another chapter.

He had started going back to UA a month ago, returning to the dorms to the comfort of his Japanese style bed and his noisy neighbors was exactly what he needed.

It had been a sloppy reunion, a lot of crying and a lot of snot mixed with tears and agony. It was hard for shoto to face them again but he was happy he did because for the first time in almost 3 years, shoto found himself in his class with his classmates and homeroom teacher.

Speaking of his homeroom teacher, aizawa was happy to keep shoto and be known as his new legal guardian with the help of hizashi, shoto jokingly called them dad from time to time, targeting right at aizawa's feelings as much as he hated to admit it.

A new family was formed, hizashi aizawa Eri and shoto became one even if they weren't related by blood they were happy to be together. with occasional visits from shinsou and mirio accompanied by Tamaki and kota it felt like something real, something shoto wouldn't lose anytime soon.

Bakugo was almost always there too, acting like he didn't want to but they knew how much he enjoyed their presence.

They went on dates small restaurant visits, they would visit the graves of shoto's parents, they would go to the park during lunch breaks just for the nostalgic feeling of the beginning when they first became friends and would return to that same makeup shop that they got to when shoto and Bakugo painted each other's faces.

Shoto knows that he missed a lot, seeing his friends again he realized that he wasnt the only one to change.

He saw it in momo as she held jirou's hand on her way to class, in iida as he and sero laughed together about something random, in koda when he saw him talk and laugh with aoyama who now was truly comfortable with himself.

He saw the change in mina as she helped Bakugo make dinner and in midorya seeing the way he flirted with kirishima back and forth. The difference between tokoyami and the one he had been friends with a while back.

Everyone was different. And shoto was too.

It was hard for them to adjust to todoroki being there again, learning his story knowing about what happened to him in those 2 and a half years came to be a bit of a shock.

But now, they were okay, they were good. Getting used to shoto wasnt all that hard, and Bakugo and kirishima certainly helped with getting him to fit in once more.

_______________

Todoroki and Bakugo felt like their relationship would be better off as kept to themselves for a while until people adjust but plans were ruined as soon as they got to be in the dorms, thinking they were alone.

It was a regular Saturday, the class had decided to go to the mall but both boys had declined for different reasons and stayed at the dorms.

Thinking they were alone, as they went to the kitchen things got out of hand and now Bakugo was pinned against a wall and they were making out for god knows how long until todoroki pulled back sighing angrily and muttering 'shit' under his breath
