Well California was definitely sunnier. We would have to be careful what we wore... The new house we were staying in was off the beach but still isolated. How were we going to pull this off? One mistake and we're screwed! Yes some people knew about us but we preferred to live in secret. This better be worth it.
I could feel Marie's vibes and knew she only had one thing on her mind.
"Jeremiah will we be able to take James and Maire to Disneyland?"
"Why else did you think I brought you guys here?" he winked in the rear-view mirror.
Marie squealed and James fist pumped the air. I was happy for them, at least they would be able to enjoy some of their childhood.
"This isn't a good idea," Brady whispered to me as we settled in.
"I know but if Jeremiah thinks it's best, we have to listen to him."
Do you think the Desmonda will not be able to find us for a whole semester?"
"I don't know Brady, I guess we'll just have to wait and see."
His face had a look of defeat on it, but there wasn't much I could do about it.
Marie's voice sounded down the hallway, "Disneyland! I get to see a Princess!"
Then James voice shouted back, "We're not going today Marie!"
Brady and I chuckled. "Sibling rivalries are so entertaining.
Jeremiah came up silently and I jumped when I noticed him appear.
"Nice reflexes," Brady joked.
"Shut up... Do you need something Jeremiah?"
"Watch your brother and sister for me, I need to meet someone for a little while."
"Okay, don't be too long. Marie is dying to visit Disneyland already."
Jeremiah chuckled, "We'll go this weekend."
