My wings were looking a little dirty so I had somehow managed to wash them and dry them off half an hour later. We all have different colors for wings. Believe me, if I wasn't having to save people I would've asked for purple wings.

Instead they were a golden color like my hair. Penelope's were pure white, James had a dark black pair that looked blue in the sunlight. Brady's were a dark grey, that looked silver.

One downside to this entire change was our memories seemed to have been altered slightly. I mean yea we saw our parents but I couldn't remember much about my life before this new one. We had been changed sixteen months ago, not very long but it had changed all of our lives.

Granted this had made us become more grownup but I still found a way to be a kid. My sister and Brady were the two who took care of us besides Jeremiah. James was a little in between. He was a kid at times and others an "adult."

Speaking of James, he hadn't made a sound for awhile. This wasn't usually atypical but something seemed off. I padded over to his room and knocked on the door.

He opened it and I sighed in relief before looking at his laptop and seeing what was on it.

"James what is this?"

"An experiment in progress, see this here is a tracking device sorta. That over there,"

"What are you tracking?"

"Well right now it's just people I've seen roaming over the place. Later I should be able to track the Desmonda."

"You know we have senses for that right?"

"Yea... but knowing ahead of time would be an advantage for us."

I left his room and went to Penelope's so I could learn lessons about boys.

"Penelope?" I knocked on the door and waited patiently for her to open up.

"Oh, hey Marie," Brady said opening the door and looking back at my sister who was sitting on her bed.

Now I was only fourteen but I wasn't stupid. There was obviously something up but I figured that could wait for later.

"I wanted to ask you something," I started and hoped she would catch the hint.

"Brady can we have some privacy please?" she asked politely.

He smiled and walked out, making sure to close the door behind him.

"What's up sweetie?"

I sat on the edge of her bed carefully.

"I need advice on how to talk to guys..."

She sat up straighter and thought for a moment. "Well at your age... I was already planning my fake wedding." She giggled for a second and continued, "always have your facts straight. Never believe a guy when he immediately says he likes you. Get to know him first."

She continued to rattle off as I made a mental list in my head on what to do and not to do.

"Penelope, will I ever be able to date? Or for a guy to like me for who I truly am?"

"There's always someone for everyone," she reassured me.

"Like you and Brady?"

My sister blushed, "well something like that."
