"Disneyland!" I cried as we went into the park. Finally I would get to see Princess Ariel, Jasmine and Belle! It was even better because I was going with my friends.
James and his friends promised to stand in line while we walked around and took pictures with Mickey Mouse figurines.
"Wow, I can't believe you have never been here before," Keelie admitted.
"Me neither, but I'm glad I get too now!"
"Look Marie it's Belle!"
I gasped as I saw her taking pictures with a little girl who was about my age.
"We have to get a picture." I skipped over to Belle and had Keelie take my picture.
"What's your name sweetie?" she asked.
"Marie."
"That's definitely a Princess name," she winked and walked away to take more pictures.
"Hey the guys are almost to the front," Alyssa announced and dashed over to the ride.
"Keelie?"
"Yea Marie?"
"Do you think any of the guys like me in our class?"
She thought for a moment as we got settled into the ride. "I don't see why not. You're amazing and really pretty!"
"Thanks. How do you get the guys to notice you?"
"I just talk to them really. I'll help you on Monday if you'd like?"
"That would be fantastic!"
The rest of the conversation would have to wait as we screamed with delight when we went down a huge drop.
"Oh my gosh, we have to get cotton candy!" Alyssa declared.
"Tell me you've had cotton candy," Keelie pressed as we picked out different colors.
"Yes, it's one of my favorites!"
"Mark can we get souvenirs this time?"
"You girls can," the other Mark replied as they high-fived each other.
"What should we get?"
"Maybe something that matches."
"Hmm... T-shirts then? Or stuffed animals?"
"Let's do t-shirts. If we get them big enough we can wear them for awhile."
"We should get these," Alyssa remarked holding up shirts that had a tiara with wording on it.
"Princess Property, what does it say on the back?"
"Keep calm and rule on. ha ha"
"Let's get them!"
Keelie grabbed a yellow shirt while Alyssa got green and I chose purple.
"We're so wearing these on Monday." I told them as we checked out and went to get on more rides.
"Definitely."
"James can we go on the teacup ride again?" I pleaded.
"Sure, but I'll just stand in line this time. I'm pretty sure I'll puke if I spin that fast again."
"Suit yourself," I grinned as we ran to go find a seat on the ride.
