The light of my life is presented against a knife right before my eyes. There's a devastating silence in my soul. A narrow line of beeping noise washed across my senses, drowning out whatever Elle hs been yelling or the scream of Taehyung when he reached Luna or even the panic in Jungkook's voice. I couldn't hear anything. All I could do is, watch. Watch Y/n's almost lifeless body against Elle's tight hold, a knife against her throat.

Her beautiful eyes are closed, her plump, soft lips are drained and pale.  I feel a shiver go through my veins, and the chill brings my brain's synapses to a halt. Y/n was the light to the dark cell I was locked in. She gave me a light to follow, a path to lead and a destination to reach. She gave me so much yet I couldn't give her simple protection. I couldn't win her trust to tell me the biggest news of our life nor I could be there to shield her from any harm. 

I never felt so so devoid of any sense of security. And surely, I never felt so useless or so utterly miserable in my life. 

While my surroundings filled with screams and filled, I remained completely void inside and still to the ground; like a complete loser. That is what I am; a disappointment, disposable and miserable loser.

''Jimin, what the fuck are you doing?!'' Jungkook shook me vigorously. It felt like hours when my body froze in dread, but then it came all at once, and it only took a droplet of blood to draw from Y/n's throat.

''Don't come near me! I will kill her!''

I don't listen though. I simply take a step closer. Jungkook and Taehyung yelled and urged me to not move. But in my veins, blood and eyes, something vicious was coursing. I fixated my gaze on the woman before me, seeing her trembling grasp against the knife. She was scared. She ought to be scared. How dare she touch my Y/n? How dare she?

''Jimin! Don't come near me! I will hurt her!'' She repeated.

''I would like for you to try.'' That's all I say, as if having no control over my body, I walk to her.

As your eyes snap open, your limbs flex in terror. Breathing tremendously, you scoot up. That's when you realise your surroundings. You are safe. You discover Jimin coming towards you immediately. ''Y/n, baby are you okay?''

''Jimin!'' You crash your body against his and squeeze him in your hold. You wanted to feel him close and sense his presence. You do not want to leave him, not now or never.

''Y/n, you need to rest. You are not-'' 

''Where's Luna and Evan? Are they okay?'' You quickly ask. ''Elle...what-''

''Luna and Evan are completely fine and do not worry about Elle from now on. Delete her from your memory and life. She is at where she belongs. She cannot hurt you anymore.'' Although he converses, he hasn't met your eyes at all this entire time.

When your body relaxes from the existing tension in your muscles and mind, you find yourself discovering the change in Jimin's character. ''Jiminie, I am fine! look at me.'' You cup his cheeks lovingly. ''Don't worry, hmm?''

Jimin gently removes your hands off him without glancing at you. ''You need to rest.''

''No, tell me first. What happened? You look different. You promised to always tell me everything.''
