"Kumusta si Blake?"

I heard Cristina gasped, "I thought you said his name is taboo?"

I rolled my eyes, "Wala naman akong sinasabing ganyan."

"Yeah, says the one who'd instantly cry by just hearing his name years ago." Janica laughed.

Umirap nalang ako at kinain yung junk food habang nakaharap sa aking phone.

I'm currently having a video call with my friends in Manila. Miss na miss ko talaga sila kaya nagpaload talaga ako when they're finally free for video chatting. Kompleto kami lahat kaya sinusulit namin kasi palagi silang busy.

"Bakit mo naman natanong, girl? Why are you suddenly curious now?" Bridget asked.

"Wala lang. So, may alam ba kayo? About how he's doing?" tanong ko. I bit my lip. I hope they don't know that Blake is literally in Davao right now.

I saw Gayle blinked, "I'm not sure but I heard from my Papa's friends that Blake is currently handling a branch from his company. Hindi ko lang alam saan, pero narinig ko lang."

"Bakit? Graduate na siya?" tanong ko kay Gayle.

Gayle nodded, "Yep. Apparently, he took summer classes and he graduated early. That's what I know. I don't know what's the rush." she took a bite of Pepero, "I also heard na magjowa na raw sila ni Emily, right Cherry?"

Well that sting. A little.

So, Blake graduated early? Si Emily rin? Magtatanong sana ako pero huwag nalang.

Ngumuso si Cherry, "Oo, that's true. I usually saw them hanging out at the university before. They're all lovey-dovey. I guess Blake moved on."

Cherry and Gayle went into the same university as where Blake went. Kaya alam nila anong ganap nilang Blake.

"Bakit, girl? Nagkita ba kayo?" Bridget asked.

Agad naman akong umiling tapos kinagat ang labi ko, "No way."

Cristina laughed, "You're obviously lying."

"So, ano? Is Blake at Davao right now?" Janica asked, staring right into me through the screen.

I sighed. There's no point in lying to them anyway. Malalaman at malalaman naman din nila. Ang dami ko nang naitatago sa kanila, might as well brought out a weight from all of the secrets I kept from them.

I nodded. They dramatically gasped.

"Weh? Eh bakit sa lahat ng mga branches sa company nila, he'd choose specifically on Davao? So, he already knows where you are, right? I mean, if this isn't the case, this can be a huge coincidence," Janica paused, "Or not. We don't know."

Hindi ako makasagot. Janica has a point though. Why Davao? I mean if he already knows where I am, he could've avoid working here? I broke up with him, I broke his heart so he should atleast be bitter or something. I even expected him na maging masungit sa akin o di kaya, hindi niya ako pinapansin tuwing nag-iintern ako pero he acted like nothing happened. He doesn't even open up about the two of us. Heck, he even wants me to have dinner with him, tomorrow.

Umiling ako. No. Wala namang meron doon sa aya niya. I mean, I think he wants to talk? Like, catch up and stuffs? Like what normal exes usually do? Talk and catch up? I don't know. Blake is my first ex, I don't what exes usually do when they see each other again after so long.

I am so confused.

Natapos yung video chat namin. Napabuntong-hininga ako. There's so many things going on this week. I don't know how to process everything. Nase-stress tuloy ako lalo. Ang daming gagawin sa school, may intern pa, may personal stufffs pa--I don't even know where to start.
