Thee (Timeless Decree)
No one is more powerful than thee
It's often spoken on bended knee
Near an ancient dogwood tree
And by holy decree
They were free

F/N: I may have deviated from the straight and narrow here, but it was my desire to be creative and produced something I would call a Mirror Tempoem, it is something I have done before in other forms of poetry, so here is hoping that it works for you too.
On reflection (excuse the pun) I guess it is more of a Pebble in the Pond or Ripple Poem because unlike a Mirror it is not a full copy of the full text, it ripples away from the title as if it were a pebble thrown in a pond.
I also think THEE is near enough to satisfy my aim of starting each July poem with the word THE.
