The Dragonslayer
She had the slaying of dragons down to a fine art
Each slaying was a masterpiece
She tamed each one by capturing its heart
All they ever wanted was peace
She lured them with her gooseberry tart
Even the king was partial to a piece
Once he had taken a bite, no longer could they be apart
The same could be said of the King who always sued for peace
He and his beloved Queen shared a love that was way off the chart

For a change, I've skipped the traditional George and The Dragonslayer mythology model and gone for something a little more endearing, less dramatic, and slightly humorous.
A little shout out for the @storytellersaloon won't go a miss, the use of gooseberry tart might well be a subconscious reference to the infamous Busted Gulch muffin used for training horses.
