Ticking Clock

(NehpetsEnal) #94

Isn't strange how this old clock, just keeps on ticking

I've no batteries, no solar power, just a winder

I've seen generation after generation, come and go

But I've kept ticking away, in granddad's pocket

All I require is a little love and care

All you hear is a clock ticking

Isn't strange how this old heart, just keeps ticking on

I've no energy, no muscle power, just a pacemaker

I've seen generation after generation, come and go

But I'm still winding, my old pocket watch

All I require is a little love and care

I hear they call me, the ticking clock
