Together
We have traveled together through a pandemic
We have been forced into lockdown
We have seen loses both home and abroad
We have cried tears of sorrow at the countless loses
We have survived to see tomorrow
However
We have not witnessed a fraction of the world's true suffering
We have been brainwashed, to the world's insanity
We have been buried beneath the world's dung heap of deception
We have been deceived by the world's leaders, in whom we put our trust
We have been losing those who provide the world's working backbone
But
We still live in a world of starvation and disease
We still live in a world where those who can, don't care
We still live in a world where the only thing that matters is profit
We still live in a world where share, is a dirty word
We still live in a world where we are in brain freeze isolation
