Our Guardian Angel (MM)
Once upon a time, there was a rather unusual pub
People gathered there, by sending messages through the air
It wasn't like other pubs, it had no closing time
It was open for business, twenty-four hours a day
It was easy to reach, from all over the world
No creed, culture, colour, or race was barred
All you had to do was write and be nice
It gave out, more than it took in
The landlord worked like a slave, for her there was no reprieve
She has the soul of an angel, and rarely takes a rest
It's at times like these, when she has troubles of her own
That we appreciate and miss her presence the most
So, God bless you and take care MM
Footnote:
I don't think I need to say more than this poem is dedicated to @MystreMyna, our @PoetsPub guardian angel, and ask that you take all the time you need, even if just to rest, we all care.
And I don't expect any points to be awarded for this, it is a sign of my appreciation.
