Our perspective is the problem
Our perspective is the problem
What is the difference between a speck or a particle of dust
Now that is a very interesting question
It appears if I am a particle of dust, you can measure me
But hey, you can also measure me if I'm a speck of dust
So, what's the difference
Well, it comes down to the size
If I'm a speck of dust, as you know I am very small, but my size varies
And as consequence can sneak in, just about anywhere
But when compared to a particle, I can be a giant
Now, doesn't that seem like a contradiction
You could say that the smallest speck of dust, is in fact a particle
For, a particle is the smallest piece of matter possible, and each type is a specific size
In fact, to the naked eye, it is invisible
But it gets really confusing when you talk about sub-atomic particles
These are so small, they race around inside of an atom
I think we can safely say, that at this point they are no longer specks of dust
Footnote:
I had no idea, that writing poetry was going send me a scientific journey, to the minutest of places, you might say it is exciting, being taken to a whole new dimension.
