The Sacrifice.
"You lost her?!" Stefan raised his voice, combing his hand through his hair. "Lost is a loose term." Damon said, earning a glare from his younger brother. "It was kind of difficult to look for a 5'5, red haired, witch when the coffee shop you were in was vandalized."
"Rose was burning because of the sun and I took priority in escorting her to safety and when I went back to look for Natasha she was nowhere to be found." He then added seeing as Stefan was going into panic mode.
"Look, we can just have Bonnie do her magical juju to fin Natasha just like we found Elena." Damon suggested. "Look who's finally giving useful advice." Rose said as she walked into the room.
"Natasha would kill me if we used Bonnie to find her. You know she hates Bonnie being exploited." Stefan told Damon, who rolled his eyes. "It's one or the other, little brother. Either we use Bonnie to find Natasha or we just let Natasha find her way back to us."

"You lost her?!" Elena asked as Damon explained the two current situations. "There's the word 'lost' again. No, I didn't lose her. But it's kinda hard to find someone when a whole crowd of people are scattering out and Rose is burning to a crisp." Damon said.
"So what you're saying is you lost her." Elena crossed her arms, Stefan turned to Damon, who shrugged. "She's a witch, she'll find her way back. I was going to have Bonnie find her but Stefan over here said Natasha would kill us for using Bonnie."
"But you want to use Bonnie to break the spell for the sacrifice? So we're still using Bonnie." Elena said. Damon threw his hand up in the air, "I don't think you two understand that a witch is always needed. And who's a witch? Bonnie Bennett. Ergo, we go to her when we need a witch."
"Whatever. So, how do we break this spell?" Elena asked. "By releasing it from the moonstone." Stefan said. "How do you guys know this will even work?" She asked. "Need I remind you that we have a crafty witch on our side. Well, two but one is currently unavailable." Damon said.
"You've discussed this with Bonnie." She turned from Damon to Stefan, awaiting an answer. "She agreed to do anything that could help us." The younger Salvatore said.
"It's Katherine who has the moonstone. She's not gonna give it to you." Elena said . "We're gonna get it from her." Stefan sounded overly confident, Damon as always bursting the bubble, "What he means to say is that we will pry it from her cold, dead hand if we have to."
"Bonnie just needs to find a way to release the seal long enough for us to get in, get the moonstone and get out in time for her to return it."
"Wow. I mean, it sounds like you guys already have it all planned out." She said. "Yep. We're awesome." Damon said. "Awesome people don't lose my best friend." Stefan reminded him. "There's that word again. I did not lose her!".
"There's one more thing that doesn't involve the fact that Damon lost Natasha," Elena said, Damon threw his arms up in defeat once more. "I don't want you guys to do it." She said.
"What are you talking about, Elena? We don't have a choice." Stefan said. "What about Klaus?" She asked, "We'll find him, but after we get the moonstone." He answered. "Is that before or after he kills everyone I care about, including the two of you?" Elena's tone raised as she was rather frustrated at what would happen if Klaus was messed with.

"I might be able to lower the tomb spell long enough for you to get in there and grab the moonstone from Katherine." Bonnie told Damon and Stefan, hours after their previous encounter with Elena.
