Ordinary People.

"Rebekah, let me have at it." Niklaus told his little sister, referring to her engraving the walls of a cave. "Quiet, Niklaus. She has to concentrate if she not to slice off a finger." Natalia told him as she watched her blonde friend.

"Yes, well, father will not like you handling the blade." He told Rebekah. "If I want to wield a blade, I shall wield a blade. Father need not know."

"He will find out. He always does." Niklaus told his sister, eying Natalia for a moment before Rebekah snapped her fingers in his face. "That is because you always tell him." Rebekah told him.

"I cannot help it. He frightens me." Niklaus admitted quietly. Natalia looked over to her friend, who nodded. She then hugged him, he hadn't expected it, but hugged back. He needed it. He needed her.

"He frightens us all." Rebekah told him as Natalia pulled away from him. "He frightens me and he's not even my father. I cannot imagine how you all feel." Natalia told the two siblings.

"That is why we stick together as one, always and forever." Rebekah told them both. "Right, traitor?" Rebekah smiled at her brother. He looked at her and smiled, nodding slightly. "Right."

"You two are my favorite siblings." Natalia smiled. "Don't tell Kol that. He'll have a fit." Rebekah told her.

"And why is that?" Natalia asked. "Because he fancies you. It's quite clear, honestly." Rebekah answered.

Niklaus clenched his jaw at the thought. Rebekah saw this and smirked. "Here. You finish. I'm to help mother with the meal." She handed Niklaus the blade.

"Yes. Go tend to dinner. Leave the blades to the men, little sister." Niklaus said, his gaze shifting from Natalia to Rebekah.

He put his hand out for the blade, Rebekah went and handed it to him. She put it in his hand the sharp side slashing his palm.

"Bekah!" Niklaus groaned. "It's just a little blood. Be a man about it." She responded and left.

Natalia laughed slightly. Niklaus looked at her. "I assume you agree?" He asked. "Of course I do."

Natalia turned to leave only to have her forearm grabbed. Niklaus pulled her towards him. She ended up against his chest as he looked down at her. He dropped the blade in the process.

"What are you doing?" Natasha asked, slightly flustered. "What I've wanted to do for a while now." He told her. He then put his hand to the side of her face and kissed her.

"Nik..." Natalia said as she pulled away. "Rebekah will kill me, I know that." He told her as he leaned in to kiss her again.

"Natalia, are you coming or not?" Rebekah said from the entrance. "Yes. I'm on my way." Natalia said as she backed away from Niklaus.

He watched as she walked away. He sighed, picking up the blade and continuing to engrave the wall.

Natasha gasped awake as she looked around, remembering she was in the 21st century rather than the 11th.

Her heart fluttered at the dream she just had but she ignored it. Not wanting to admit that she had feelings for Klaus. Not after he compelled Stefan to turn his humanity off.

"You okay? You seem spooked." Jenna said from Natasha's doorway. She could hear Natasha's heart beat with her vamp hearing and her eyes widened.

"Who was it?" Jenna asked as she sat on Natasha's bed. "Pardon?" Natasha asked.
