Chapter Forty.
"Rebekah," Natasha whined as she was being dragged into the Mikaelson mansion by the blonde. "Stop whining. You sound like Elena." Rebekah scoffed, this comment making Nataasha shut up instantly.
The pair walked towards the living room area. There Klaus was, painting on a huge canvas. It looked like one of those beautiful abstract art pieces that are expensive, but think it's over priced so you don't buy it, but still end up buying because of its beauty.
"What took you so long?" Klaus asked his sister, not bothering to turn around completely. "This one refused to come over here. She would have prefered watching the cringey and unrealistic Twilight movies." Rebekah sighed, "Along with that, Alaric refused to hand over the stakes. Luckily I'm quite the charmer." She held up the white oak stake.
Klaus grinned, turning around to face both girls. "It wasn't hard to get the arrows as they were given to me." Natasha said as she held the white oak arrows out.
"That's it?" Klaus asked as he grabbed the arrows, examining them. "The last white oak objects that can kill us. Do you want to do the honor, or shall I?" Rebekah asked.
"I feel as though Natasha should do the honors. She's the brilliant one who scemed this all." Klaus said. The siblings grinned as the held out the white oak arrows and stake.
"Let it burn! Let it burn!" Spencer clapped with a smug expression. "You're back. You weren't here yesterday." Natasha murmured. "I was in Beacon Hills yesterday. Checking up on Lydia and the other for you."
"Who are you talking to?" Rebekah asked as she looked around. "Hmm? Sorry, but you must be hearing things, Bex." Natasha shrugged. "Both of us?" Klaus raised an eyebrow.
"You both are like a gazillion years old." Natasha said. "So are you!" Klaus exclaimed. "Yes, but I died and came back, making me eighteen over and over. Not the same thing." She said, the siblings scoffed.
"Burn it, will you?" Rebekah said. "My pleasure." Natasha smiled as she grabbed the white oak. "Phesmatos Incendia." She said and watched the white oak burst into flames, she then tossed the burning wood into the chimney before it could burn her.
"Well, that's that, then." Rebekah said. "Anyone else think that should have felt more empowering? I was expecting a loud bang or something cool." Spencer sighed.
"Pack your bags. We're leaving." Klaus said as he continued painting. This caught them all off guard. "Natasha, you are well aware that you are invited to join us. We'd be pleased to have you once more." He then added.
"Hybrid baby!" Spencer jumped in excitement.
"Today?" Rebekah asked, disappointedly. "Why not? There's nothing keeping us here. We'll grab the doppelganger and be out by sunset." Klaus said.
