A series of his life translated....
"Hey wait up J.P!" I call. Théo hits my shoulder, but I ignore him.
"What." J.P asks shifting to face us.
"We are heading to Andy's, you want to come?" I say grinning.
"What are you doing?" Théo whispers beside me.
"This will be the perfect time to establish the beginnings of a brand-new friendship, you know, with everything happening and us risking our lives and stuff." I whisper back. Théo furrows his eyebrows and gives me that look, he knows I'm lying. "Ok that was a lie, I'm seeing his sister and I don't want to be on J.P's hit list."
"You do know I can hear you two," J.P tells us, "anyway, I don't want to go." He turns away an continues walking to his car.
"Wait man, come on." I quickly catch up and wrap my arm around his shoulder. "Jeez you are tall. Look man, we could start some sort of brotherhood or something. It'd be fun, I swear" J.P stops looks me in the eye. I remove my arm quickly.
"Ok, but you buy." He says.
"Cool." I smile. I know Theo isn't too big on J.P, but he's cool and I think he just needs some friends, well new friends who aren't dead or totally M.I.A. "We can take my car and you can drive." J.P turns to Harper and throws her his keys. She turns to me and waves, a half-smile tucked by her cheek. I lift my hand a wave back.

I swear I'm suffocating in this silence. Maybe I shouldn't have forced Théo to sit shotgun next to Jessie. I think they're just shy, they have never really talked to each other ever, but I can change that.
"Wow, Andy's Parking lot is pretty packed today." I laugh.
"It's Saturday Willjay." Theo smiles shaking his head.
"You know," J.P starts, "you didn't have to invite me, I'm cool with you and my sister. But you do understand if anything happens, I will have to end your life Will Jones."
"That's not the only reason I invited you J.P." I tell him as a nervous laugh escapes me. "The deal is, we are all in this mess and I just think if we are going to do this, we should do this together, you know, as bros and stuff." They nod their heads, but we all fall silent again. Something tells me this is going to be much harder than I thought.
Théo and I bonded over stealing his math test back in primary. I smile at the car ceiling, at the thought of us risking getting suspended because he forgot to write his name on the paper. That's when it comes to me. I have a plan, maybe not the best plan but it's a certified Willjay Jones plan.
"Let's break into the library." I tell them. They turn and look at me confused. "Well look, the library chick has to have another way into that room and I'm guessing its probably through the back room behind her desk."
"Willjay.... that's actually smart," J.P says, "second time today."
"We can't just break into the public library, can we?" Théo asks.
"Of course we can, Tony sneaks in through the loose window all the time." I laugh, "Not to study of course."
"Cool." J.P says.
"Yeah, cool." Théo agrees.

Sharp pain shoots up my side as I fall onto Théo. He groans loudly pushing me off onto the carpet.
"Sorry." I say with a pained laugh.
"Come on." J.P whispers. The library is dimly lit by flood lights from outside. I click on my long metal flashlight and follow closely behind J.P. When we reach the desk, I shine the light into the open room behind it, but the light doesn't catch anything. It's just a pitch-black hole in the wall.
