"Don't you think I know where you have been miss Reeves?" I feel her grey eyes pierce through my own, A sharp needle like pain as she tries to catch me off guard. If she already knows then what more can she do?

"I do not know what you may mean Mrs Ward"

"Such an articulate girl, and resilient, shame you were born.... into the wrong family." She says.

"Is that so?" I ask.

"You are smart, a fiend of my own making really, but I am wise beyond my years child. I knew you were coming, I know where you have been, I know what you know and what you are only yet to realise." I shift a little as she says this. It's not something I am only yet to discover, it's something I am only yet to realise, something I already know. I can't remember.

"If you knew I was coming then why didn't you stop me when I was young and still at camp. I could have been isolated or disposed of." I suggest politely.

"Well I had mistaken you for an orange haired boy." She says adjusting her wrist watch casually. "I disposed of him, while he was still plagued by camp." My stomach twists as she says this. I swallow hard.

"No, that not why he...."  I begin to explain, but I wish I hadn't. There was a hint of venerability in my own voice, and by the rise of her left eyebrow, I know she heard it.

"He was heavily influenced because of me miss Reeves." She smirks. "I'd advice that you and your 'friends' attend to their own businesses. You don't understand the forces you are handling with." There are so many questions I want to ask her, theories Theo and I have come up with, but I can't. There's something she wants from me and if this continues any longer, I'm going to give it to her.

"You are getting old Mrs Ward" I tell her. "You are beginning to imagine things."

"Old." She says stifling a laugh like I have pronounced the word incorrectly. I glance up at the clock.

 10:30 am.

"I trust that you will make the right decision miss Reeves."
