Cross's POV

"LUCILLE!"

I was running through the path while searching for Lucille around the park and the town. I was panting when I kept running and running, still searching for her. My face begins to heat up with sweats. I couldn't find her anywhere. I don't know how she disappeared, but somehow she probably got kidnapped by Alastor who already found us without my notice. How could this be possible? Why can't I sense anything? Probably it must have been weakened.

"Lucille, where are you!?" I yelled out, still running as I know how to track them out with their trace. "Luce, where did you go!? Please don't do anything stupid!"

Within a minute left, I stop running and started to take a break from running. I was so exhausted from searching for my best friend.

Chara appeared from my other side. "Did you know where she went?"

I shook my head. "I didn't notice she vanished when I needed to talk things out." I panted, "I didn't even know Alastor has already found us before it happens."

"Well, he already knows where we are when we went to Hellville as our hideout. We thought Alastor will never find us here. Not to mention how stupid Lucille was when she wasn't listening to you."

I gritted my teeth as I summoned my blade and pointed at the tip of his nose, making him flinch in shock.

I glared at him. "Don't you dare call her stupid! She is just a kid! She doesn't even know Alastor has already found us like I didn't know she was captured!"

Chara scoffed at me. "Dumbass!"

I glared more when I was about to teach Chara a lesson until I didn't know I was being approached by a familiar skeleton.

"Is anything wrong?"

I blinked in shock to see it was my boss, "Ni-Nightmare!" I put my blade away and I stood in front of him, Chara managed to hide behind me.

"You should be more careful with that thing." Nightmare said with a smirk, "You don't want to aim at the wrong person."

I sighed, frowning in exhaustion. "Sorry, Nightmare." I breathed out, "It wasn't my intention. I didn't expect to see you so soon. I was just busy."

"Hm, I see. Well, I was just checking on you making sure if you're bringing the chaos of the negativity. I could sense everywhere, I see. Mind if you want to tell me?"

"At least I don't have to beg you to take me back home. I can still do it on my own." I told him.

He narrowed his eyes at me. "And?"

"And yes, I've been exterminating around the town that everyone has negative feelings. Speaking of which, they were all demons but sinners." I replied.

"Have you make more friends?" He questioned me.

I nodded. "I've manipulated them believing I'm new in this town, which they thought I was from the place called the Imp Town."

"Is that so?"

"Indeed. But I have a business to attend to. I have to go kill the Radio Demon named Alastor who gets in my way. I need--" Suddenly, I was interrupted when I felt being wrapped by his black tentacles then he pinned me against the tree. I grunted in pain after pinning me against the tree so hard.

"Why the hell would you want to kill the Radio Demon!? Idiots are less pathetic than you have to fool me without success. Don't think that you'll be the first idiot who will do it. I thought I told you not to kill them! I need them alive to use them with your purpose! Just because that I'm helping you or letting you go off killing them just because I like you!?"
