Maya's Sister

Days Like This

Maya's POV
"As far as I know she could be anywhere Carina" I said as I drove

"Then we'll find her wherever she is. Call her" she ordered me.

"Mia hey it's me. Call me back as you listen to this. It's important" I said leaving  the message in the voice mail

"Your parents house?" Asked Carina

"My parents kicked her out" I sighed

"I know just. You think there's no way she would be there?" Carina asked

"No no." I said thinking deeply "we need to drive over to the club" I said as I turned around the corner

"Club?" Carina asked

"Yeah" I said as I quickly drove over to the club where Mia trained.

As we both got out of the car we walked in.
Checked the gym. The reception. Locker rooms. Everywhere. Lastly I decided to take a look out on the pitch. We walked pass the racetrack which gave me quite a goosebump. So many memories.

As we walked over to the pitch there was nowhere for her to be seen. Damn.

Carina's POV
I looked at my phone. 10pm damn. Where were you Mia. It's freezing cold out here.

Maya was starting to lose it. I could feel it  
We decided to take another look inside the club till I heard something like a hiccup. Tried to ignore it thinking it was just me till I heard it again. Hiccup rhythm.

As I turned to maya she had heard it too.
We both walked together towards the substitutes bench. Until we saw it.

Maya's POV
I couldn't believe my eyes. More like I didn't want to.

She was sleeping on the floor next to the bench. Freezing cold just covering up with a jacket. I looked at Carina having no clue on what to do.
I slowly walked over closer to her and gently shook her.

"Mia, hey" I said

In less than a second her eyes were open and she was sitting up
"Hey what?" She asked confused having no clue on what was happening

"It's me Mia" I said stroking her cheek

"Maya what..- what are you doing here?" She asked in confusion

"Come on" I said as I helped her up

"Maya what are you talking about?" She asked
"You're coming home with me" I said and as I said that her face turned pale

"Home? No no, Maya I...- I can't go back not with him" she muttered starting to panic

"Honey you're coming home with me" I said as we walked out of the pitch. After some steps she noticed the Italian women walking after us.

"This is Carina" I said nicely as carina got closer

"Hey Mia. Lovely to meet you" carina smiled
Mia smiled back and said "pleasure"

She didn't quite possibly get the fact that carina was my girlfriend.

As we got into the car Mia sat down and looked out of the window.

Carina's POV
I couldn't believe my eyes. Couldn't believe what I was seeing. I couldn't help it but feel sorry.

I could see how exhausted Maya's sister was. Looked so skinny and weak. She was with us now. Which was something made me calm down. Knowing we would help her.

As we parked in and walked into the apartment Mia looked around and felt quite surprised on how warm it was in comparison to the outside which was freezing cold.
