Maya's POV

"Morning" I said as I walked into the kitchen to find Mia getting ready

"morning you" she smiled back

"you have your first vocationals today" I said and she nodded "you nervous?" I asked

She shrugged and said "kinda, more nervous about the fact I've got no clue on ehat to say since I've got no clue on what I'll do"

"come on, you've got to have an idea" I said and she shook her head "even the idea you're not telling me?" I smiled

She laughed and said "please, if you find that idea, let me know"

I laughed and said "after practice and vocationals want to head over to station?"

"yeah" she said excitedly

"great, if I'm on a call just head inside" I said and she nodded as she grabbed her hockey bag and her keys

"drive slow" I said as she nodded and walked out

"hey you" smiled Andy as I walked into the station

"hey" I smiled back and both of us headed into my office

"what's up?" she asked

"not much, Mia will be around after school here" I said

"oh yey!" she laughed

"just pretend like you're not more fond to my sister than to me" I laughed

"I'm not" she smiled "just great to have our future firefighter here" she said and I laughed "oh come on, don't tell me you don't know" she said

"she's not even sure herself" I said

"Oh but I am" said Andy

Mia's POV

Practice was helish, my knee had started to bother me once again, but I couldn't say much about it since I knew how it could end up like.

I checked my phone I saw I had quite a while before I should head over to the station. I had already cancelled the vocationals. Hadn't told Maya, nor Carina. But I did know what I wanted to be, I wanted to be a firefighter, wanted to work at 19

After showering and grabbing everything I headed over to my bike

"Bishop!" I heard behind me

"yeah" I said as I saw my coach coming over

"what's going on?" she asked worriedly

I looked at her quite confused not understanding

"you've been limping the whole practice" she said

"no no, I'm okay" I said

"you're definently not, why would you be limping then" she said and I shrugged my shoulders "do I need to contact your sister?" she asked

"No no, you don't" I said

"seems like I should" she said "get this cleared or I'm making the call" she said walking away

I made my way over to the station and found everyone in the kitchen

"hey!" said as she saw me coming in

"hey" I smiled back as I said hi to everyone

"Maya's upstairs she'll be right down" said Andy as she sat next to me "how did practice go?" she asked

"quite alright" I said

"still riding?" asked Jack and I nodded

"grow up!" laughed Vic
