Maya's POV
"And you're home" I said as I unlocked the door "I'll race you inside" I smiled
"I think I'll pass this time" smiled Mia weakly
"Let's get you inside Bella" said Carina as she helped her in while I brought the bags inside
"So" I said as I walked into the living room "how are you feeling?" I asked
"Feeling great" she said from the couch where she was laying dow
"Yeah" I said "I don't buy a word of what you're saying" I smiled sitting down next to her
"Here" said Carina as she brought over a huge pack of ice
"I'm freezing cold already with no ice on" said Mia groggily
Carina chuckled as she crouched down "I know, but trust me. Your ribs need ice"
"Don't you want to head over to bed?" I asked "so you can get proper sleep?"
"I really don't love the idea of being stuck in bed" she smiled
"it's not being stuck in bed, is resting. And then you'll come right back here" I smiled and she slightly nodded
Carina headed over to the kitchen to make dinner as I helped Mia over to her room to settle in
Mia's POV
"you're smiling" I said "you're creepy" I smiled weakly as Maya helped me pull on my shirt with my arm on a splint
"I'm just happy" she said "Not happy this ocurred, of course not. Just happy you're alright."
"yeah, so am I" I said "can you hand be a hoodie?" I asked
she nodded as she handed me one of her 19 hoodies and helped me with it
"get rest" she said as she placed the covers over me "that brain of yours needs it"
"my brain is more than fine" I said
"yeah, your brain has never been quite normal so..." she smiled
"hush" I smiled as my eyes began to close
"I mean it, you're exhausted. Sleep" she said
"I'm fine Maya" I smiled
"I know you are, but anyways, you're exhausted and you have to sleep." She said "I can stay, till you fall asleep"
"It's okay, really" I said as my eyes began to close
"I'm staying anyways" She smiled as she sat down next to me
Carina's POV
Some minutes later Maya came out of Mia's room
"hey" she smiled as she walked over to me
"hello" I said "how's she doing?"
"she's alright. Out like a light" I said
"that's good. We're supposed to wake her every 4 to 6 hours though" I said and she nodded "Maya, what's on your mind?" I asked as I saw how silent she was"
